top Wr has a great chance of being Jameon Lewis, who is the SEC's leading returner in receiving yards and tds.
Sure, he's the best out of the no-talent group of scrubs you claim as your skill players, but let's be honest.. He'd be buried on the depth chart of any SEC squad excluding Vandy and Kentucky.

Nah.

Doubt it...plus Sammie Coates had 7 tds last year, Lewis only had 5

He'll be better by the end of his SO year.

but Prewitt is a first team-All American.
And Cyrus Kouadjio was a 1st team All-American over Robinson (3rd team). We are talking about TALENT not accolades.

What's VH3 got? Right now.
1st team All-SEC as a TF? 3rd team All-American as a TF? National Defensive FR of the year? First Team All-FR All-American? SEC Newcomer of the year? 2nd in the SEC in passes defended? Widely considered the best CB in the country as a TSO?
quote:

What does VH3 have on Prewitt?
Talent. End of story.

ETA:

Not the player he will be.
And the OP said "will have top DB." UF will have the top DB in 2014.

Lewis rushed for 3 and passed another 3 for a total of 11 tds. Yes Calhoun is at the top of the db list going into 2014.

That won't happen.

Sammie Coates, LaQuan Treadwell, Amari Cooper, Duke Williams, and Marquez North are all better than him.

Injuries here...not talent. If Cyrus had average knees, he would have been drafted ahead of GR.

3rd team All-American as a TF?

Which service? He wasn't AP.

quote:

National Defensive FR of the year?

Because Prewitt qualified for that award last year...

First Team All-FR All-American?

So was Tony Conner...

quote:

2nd in the SEC in passes defended?

VH3 was 4th in passes defended...Prewitt was first in INTs

Widely considered the best CB in the country

Prewitt was voted the best Safety in the country

Lol, please. The same Robinson that didn't crack any All-American teams? The same Robinson that didn't crack any All-SEC teams? The same Robinson that didn't even make Freshman All-SEC?

This is how I feel about state. We have guys on watch lists for best QB, WR, All Purpose, DL, Deffensive Player, Defensive Back, and OL and I suspect a mediocre season in most of the league's standards.

I wasn't extremely impressed by Prewitt. He did have a lot of interceptions and made a lot hard tackles in front of him, but also I noticed him getting beat in the defensive backfield either by a receiver trying to get open or by a runner with the ball putting a move on him. He's really good, but not one of the best in the country.

I was impressed by Tony Conner, though, especially as a true freshman.

Prewitt has a honky name. Dragging him down.

1st overall? 2nd overall? Over Matthews too?

OK
quote:

Which service? He wasn't AP.
Wrong.
quote:

Because Prewitt qualified for that award last year..
Prewitt's highest award by the end of his second year was mid-season 3rd team All-SEC by Phil Steele. VH3 has more accolades in 10 games than Prewitt did in 25 games.
quote:

VH3 was 4th in passes defended..
Wrong again. 3rd in SEC. 2nd in passes defended per game.
quote:

So was Tony Conner...
Was he 3rd team AP All-American too? Did he make 1st team All-SEC as well? Was he the SEC newcomer of the year too?
quote:

Prewitt was voted the best Safety in the country
By who?

Just to let you know, there are two safeties listed on the AP All-American list you keep pumping. So think of that before responding.

Also, going into his SO year, VH3 is already a 1st team pre-season all-american selection for Athlon Sports, Lindy's Magazine, Phil Steele and the Sporting News.

That's great and all...but, First.Team.All.American. Only SEC player this year that can tout being a first team All-American.
