Locker Room Problem at LSU?

When thinking about the NFL draft and the rate at which underclassmen are now declaring,it got me thinking which SEC schools have lost the most underclassmen talent to the NFL over the last 2 draft class.
LSU - 17
Florida - 8
Alabama - 7
Tennessee - 5
A&M - 4
Georgia - 3
Auburn - 3
Missouri - 3
Arkansas - 2
I knew LSU had lost a lot of players, but I didn't imagine it would be twice as much as the next team. I know LSU has and will continue to have talent, but the margin isn't that large. Alabama has just as many talented young players, but they see to make the choice to stay in school.
So the question is, are these kids being smart and getting paid while they can, or is there a locker room issue at LSU that's causing these kids to leave?

Seeing how most Bama "studs" are busts in the NFL, I would say Les is doing the right thing in letting them declare early, as opposed to Saban being selfish and running these kids bodies into the ground for the "hopes" of championships.

A&M has a locker room problem too
Drugs and lack of talent

It's especially strange because I think they had three early entries go undrafted in 2013 and a couple others go very late in the draft. Either someone at LSU isn't giving them good advice or they were itching to get out of there

Until you start paying our bills, why not worry about your own football program instead of ours

LSU has expanded its locker room. Additional lockers are being consructed in Aggie and Gump heads by the minute.

LSU needs to upgrade their pay scale

I don't think it's a locker room problem at all. LSU has some elite guys start playing early. LSU will play a ton of freshman this year. Over the last 5 years, LSU has played more freshman than any other team in the country. After 3 years of actually contributing at the NCAA level, you are probably ready to move on.
Some of the guys who declared last year knew they were gonna be buried in the depth chart and obviously didn't care enough to get their diploma. There are plenty of reasons why someone would leave early and test the NFL waters, but I don't think the reason is in the locker room, unless you count younger players taking their spots.

Just my thoughts:
1. LSU has played a lot of freshman over the last 5 or so years. Generally if they're good enough to get significant PT that early, then they're good enough to leave college early.
2. I would imagine that the large majority of HS kids who go on to play at all SEC schools think they are going to be in the NFL in 3 years. I think the coaching staff at LSU kind of embraces that thought process rather than cautioning against it by basically telling the HS recruits from the outset that if their plan is to turn pro after 3 years, then the staff isn't going to push to persuade them not to. It probably leads to some guys leaving early who would be better off staying in college, but I think it also helps bring in the elite players. The mindset is that the coaches want the players to be good enough to leave early

LSU also has graduated a larger % of their football players in the last few years than any other SEC team except Vanderbilt.

LSU players come back to get their degree, train at the facilities, and go to the spring games and various events. They do all this while making a good living.
