Fournette MAY be good but LSU doesnt have a SEASONED QB thus equaling a decent YET disappointing season. Maybe 15-16 will be the year of the Bayou Tigers.

Not having a proven QB before last season didn't seem to hurt Auburn too much

Nick Marshall came out of nowhere last fall and he couldn't throw worth a shite.

The key is an OL that returns 4/5 and has some great experience in the 2-deep, plus a defense that will look like 2011. I shite you not.

Most people see more upside with Harris and hopes he gets the early nod at QB, but both QBs are dual threat guys.

The question, to me, really isn't the emergence at QB, it's replacing the stud WRs that we lost in OBJ and Landry. We will see if Dupre and Quinn can be help soften their loss.

Winston wasnt a seasoned QB this past year. Neither was JFF when he won his heisman. neither was McCarron when he won the natty in 2011. neither was nick marshall this year. i really dont understand everyone on this boards logic that a new QB automatically translates into a disappointing season.

Fournette is being overrated a bit IMO. Not because he lacks talent, but because of the way Miles utilizes the RB's. I know LSU fans retort is they have Cameron now, so Miles isn't near as involved in the O. Based on several occasions last year, I would strongly disagree with that.

In regards to LSU's QB situation, it won't really matter. A good OL and a RB by committee, that is what Les will lean on. Harris/Jennings aren't going to be allowed to do much this yr. LSU is going to try to win games with a strong run game and a much improved defense.

I have LSU at 8 or 9 wins. Think that is pretty fair. '15 will be their year to compete on the National stage.

I know this is a troll thread but whatevs. The LSU/AU game will be interesting this year for sure.

On defense LSU stacks up well against AU's attack. They have the ends to disrupt the rhythm of Marshall especially since GRob is gone.(Shon maybe a former 5* but he's not Robinson). However I'm still not sold on LSU's LB corp so I'll call it a wash with how good the AU RBs are. The best matchup will be the RR and Tre against Duke and Sammie. That'll be fun especially if Duke goes off.

On offense LSU will of course be run heavy with the loss of so much production and I don't see cam trying to test what should be an improved AU secondary on the road. That means that AU's front seven vs those road graters will determine how effective LF/Magee will be. I foresee the TE being used a lot for LSU to keep the AU safeties from stacking the box.
