why won't an elite high school qb play for spurrier?

we get one between 200-247 on 247 every couple of years, but no real elite prospects. if spurrier is such a brilliant mind, why don't five-stars sign with him? or is it the school being historically bad?

Prob bec not 1 of his QBs have had success in the NFL.

What elite QB has he ever produced?

Because these are the mechanics Spurrier teaches:

Because he's produced exactly zero NFL stars

I'm sure we will see Coach_81 soon enough

Why don't you just go sign in onto your Clemson alter already?

USC isn't a destination school for the NFL. The last QB drafted from USC was in 1990, some guy named Mark Ellis was drafted in the 9th round(lol).
The development of talent into NFL caliber QB's is not something you find in USC. Defensive linemen seems to be their bread and butter.

Spurrier has never been that amazing as a recruiter. Not even at florida. Fsu regularly beat him up on the recruiting trail.
What he does do is win. In college. Somehow.

he's just testing how low on the stars system he can go before clemson finally beats us again

Same reason they don't sign with Clemson. South Carolina is a shitty state without the resources to develop young high school talent at the QB position.
