That's a lot of head coaches off a staff that's never won an SEC game.
As for us Spavital has the potential like all our OCs do, we will see what happens this year

You're dumb if you think that staff has -that- many coaches who would succeed at the BCS level. There is no way you go winless in the SEC with coaching talent like that.

OP must also be a dabo fan

Dameyune Craig. He has the charisma that a good HC would need and has worked under some good HCs. I think he becomes a coordinator in the coming years and then eventually will get an opportunity to become a HC.

we lost three assistant coaches off last years winless team to BCS schools
Charlie Partridge to FAU as head coach
Chris Ash to Ohio State as assistant DC
Taver Johnson to Purdue as DB coach

Wasn't Ash the DC? So two of them took demotions? Looks like they're concerned about Bert's job security

Those are irrelevant. Maybe you need a reminder of what your title says...

Well what I read made no sense to me, so I assumed it was some kind of code. Arkansas is a white hot dumpster fire with a useless fatass for a coach.

usually I regard every Arkansas post as a troll but this one I think you truly believe...and that is just plain sad

Has he had a single head coach interview since he was fired from the U? He interviewed at a few schools for DC jobs before he landed at Arky

Rumors are always that he is going to get a coordinator gig, at a real school. And then he went to Arkansas.
So not only did he settle for assistant, he settled for it at Arkansas. So you're not even close.
Moreso, you list 4-5 other people at a bad program. Your post is terrible, and you should feel terrible.

looks more like bert saw what they were doing wasn't going to cut it in the SEC. so he made changes based off of his year of experience in the league
fwiw Saban did the same thing after his first year in the SEC
quote:
Nick Saban made several staff changes on the defensive side of the ball following his first year in the SEC, after coming here from the B1G.
Sabans first year at lsu was 2000. These position coaches were in their first year at lsu in 2001
Defensive Coordinator: Gary Gibbs
Defensive Backs: Charlie Harbison
Linebackers: Will Muschamp
Offensive Line: George Yarno
