Tons of nice new hotels in Columbus. 25 miles away. I'm sure that's where Aub (team) will be located.

WHY would you go to this game of all games? Auburn ought to get hazardous duty pay for having to even set foot in Starkvegas.

Youll be lucky to find a room in starkville that doesnt have wheels attached

Hampton, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Suites are all along highway 12 and near the campus...comfort suites is walking distance to the stadium, but I am sure it is already booked...I have stayed at all of those mentioned and all are good places to stay...
also, there is a very small town nearby called West Point that has a very nice Hampton, but the town is so small that there is nothing much to eat there...that Hampton is always cheap and fills up last due to its location....
much larger town about a half hour away is Columbus and there are a good number of nice hotels there as well as resturants...

Thanks for all responses
Never been to stark Vegas. Are there bars? Places to eat? Or is everything in Columbus

it is a very small town, but I work there quite a bit and really like it...if I remember right, they have a strip of bars called the Cotton District that is off campus, but within walking distance that is very cool...
resturants are pretty scarce, but there is one called The Grill that I like. The Veranda is excellent quality food, but is a little pricier...There is also a mugshots hamburger joint that is in a cool old rennovated building...barbecue is probably your best bet there and there are several places to get that...
Columbus has a more resturants, but most are chain type places because the town is bigger...

There's an old part if town, with bars, etc. I was working there 6-8 years ago, but remember it being pleasent, despite the sterotypes. I enjoyed my time there. It's not as bad as people say.
