I know they have a big tv production building for the different NASCAR shows on FoxSports1, etc but I think they were looking to lease some of it as well.

Charlotte is more SEC territory than is Atlanta probably.
Charlotte is more part of SC than NC.
It's good that the SEC is firmly planting its footprint in Charlotte.

So when Nick stops by for one of his frequent chats they'll use one of the side studios and just pop the SEC chevron, most likely.
Seems like a way to save money, but at some point I imagine the SEC will expect a more thorough and elaborate setup.

I agree. If we ever get a school from that state it will instantly become the real Carolina SEC school.
