ULL is 49-7 with an RPI that's #7 in the country. They absolutely belong in the national seed discussion.

i suppose but i certainly understand why some dont think so. they have a bad SOS. they havent played anyone all year really.

They belong in the national seed discussion the same way Boise State deserves to be in the BCS championship game discussion whenever they play a cupcake schedule to avoid losing any games. ULL *might* be a real good team, but they sure as hell haven't built a resume to prove it.

Only four games played against top 50 teams. A solitary top-50 road win (a midweek five-inning game against LSU). It's not even remotely comparable to Vandy, Ole Miss, and USC.

I agree, this just proves that the RPI rankings are flawed. Kind of like the BCS, but not as bad.
