That non-conference schedule is embarrassing

When will Miss St. win the west? With all of the first year starting qbs, outside of Auburn it seems that the SECw is wide open, as so many teams are rebuilding.
Miss St. fans, what do you think holds you back from making it to ATL this year? What position is supposed to be the weak link of your team next year? (Besides kicker).

The fact that 4 of the teams in our division have been recruiting NFL talent on both sides of the ball for several years now.
That said, this coming season is our best shot at making a run since we last won the West I'd say. Still need a lot to go our way for that to happen, though.
I will say I think Mullen finally gets his signature win this season, and we take out 1 (maybe even 2) of Bama/LSU/Auburn/A&M.

I figure 8-9 wins this year. Egg Bowl determines the West.

8-4, but they'll play teams like LSU and Alabama tough.

USA played Tennessee last year and had a chance to win I believe. The SEC has been playing them before this year.

8-4 but may go 9-4 or 7-5

11-1 lose the Egg bowl.
Blood in the streets.
Heads on spikes.
Everyone dies.

Best team in a long time. If we don't win 8, everyone will be disappointed.

Who are the difference makers in that team? Dak is a good start but I couldn't name you one other starter
Chris Jones and Bernardrick Mckinney are as good as anyone in the country at DL and LB. The defense should be really salty. We are as deep as i can remember at receiver. Jameon Lewis was right under 1000 at the slot. The rest are all large guys. We lost ladarius perkins at rb which automatically makes us better. The only question is the OL

Auburn plays both us and OM on the road, and they will lose at least one of them.

McKinney and Jones are fun to watch. Gotta have some guys in the secondary step up, or mass exodus of QBs in the West help State any.
8-4 or 9-3
