No shite. we dont need a fricking pass rusher. we need Matt Ryan vertical so he can throw to Roddy and Julio and hand off to Quiz.
Stay at 6, get Matthews, be happy.

this does not need to be another episode whenthe Falcons sold the farm to try and get AJ Green and ended up with Julio
The trade up to the 6th pick took place after Green was off the board.

Mason late 3rd, early 4th. AJ late 4th, early 5th.

Bookmarking all these idiots that are saying McCarron won't be gone until the 4th of 5th.
Late 2nd at worst. Once the QB's start rolling off the board in the second (Mettenberger, McCarron, Garrapollo, Carr, Bridgewater if he falls) teams are going to snatch the up.

They had been working on that trade up for a while before he went off the board. It was obvious who they were aiming for.

Regardless, when Julio is healthy, he is right on par with A.J. Green. Green has way more targets because he isn't splitting catches with Tony Gonzalez and Roddy White.

While I wouldn't be shocked if he lasted until the 4th or 5th round, I think I'd split the difference...I'm thinking more of a chance he goes in the 3rd. But if, as has happened in past drafts, there's a run on QBs in the late 1st round and teams start trading up, he could move up to the 2nd...and perhaps, best case scenario I think, maybe the early 2nd...

Yeah, if I remember correctly, Green was the initial target but I think Cincy wanted a bit more for their pick. Atlanta then found a willing trade partner in Cleveland and took Julio since Green was off the board...
While they were initially targeting Green, from most accounts I've read, they had them rated so closely together that they would've been happy with either one...

The Nashville Tennessean says the Titans like Auburn RB Tre Mason.
Beat writer Jim Wyatt "really think(s)" Mason is in play for the Titans at No. 42 overall. It sounds like a reach, especially in light of the wrist injury, but the Titans do need backfield help. They're already on the record saying Shonn Greene will be a committee back.

Not really. Julio isn't even as consistent as Roddy White, and AJ Green draws more coverage and still produces more than Julio.

I'm beginning to wonder if a punter will go ahead of AJ. I just don't understand how AJ, Murray, and Mett are all still on the board.
