I never thought I could love you more for giving us Bryant and Stallings, but you showed us what real love is by jumping on the grenade and hiring Fran from us.

This. You gave us seven national championships, and saved us from Fran. Without you, where would Alabama football be?
Also, R.C. Slocum was a really good coach. You guys shouldn't have fired him.
