The corndogs gotta bitch-it's their nature. When Bama was having to play west opponents who all had a week off- no scheduling inequality?

They don't get that the SEC is going through expansion. Why not go to a 9 game schedule like Alabama suggested? Maybe, just maybe, the reason for the alienation, is that Bama suggested it. What butthurt!

1990s
2000s
2010s (so far)

Decades in which Tennessee was better than Florida
1980s
1970s
1960s
1950s
1940s
1930s

Spot on. It's not so much the competitive advantage, but the lack of variety for LSU fans. I have been to Athens and Knoxville once and both are much better trips than Gainesville. Anybody got an idea as to when LSU fans might get to go back to USCe, Mizzou, UGA? Most people I know have skipped the Florida trip because it's a horrible trio compared to other SEC venues. We just want a little variety that's all. I think most fans can understand this point. I would love being able to go to Athens or Knoxville every year.

Seems to me Alabama has the inferiority complex - why are they afraid of equitable schedules? Gotta rely on the SEC offices to give them the advantage?

If its so "special" why not schedule one another as an OOC game?

We don't have to. The game isn't going anywhere.

Also in 1991 and 1992 Bama played at Baton Rouge because of expansion schedule realignments. Has LSU ever played two years in a row at Bama?

When the black bears can consistently beat MSU and Vandy you can join in of these discussions. Until then you need to STFU when the big boys are squabbling.

The swamp is a cool venue, but I like to indulge in some great restaurants places like Athens have, better tailgating, and just a better campus. I could go on and on. It's not a stretch at all to say Gainesville is second worst to Starkville

Jesus. This shite again.

Once Tennessee finds a competent HC, they'll be good again just based solely on the stupid amount of money they spend on football.

I don't recall Auburn fans bitching about scheduling, and they bitch the most about everything.

Bama is on record FOR the 9 game schedule. You are bitching up the wrong tree.

The only way to do this is to have a round robin.

You guys weren't bitchingnwhen Tennessee beat Alabama 8 years in a row in the 1990s early 2000s.

Nope. And you also don't hear them bitching about UGA/AUB which is another big rivalry that NEEDS to be preserved and was a big part of this decision as well.

If alleva didn't support this compromise that would have accomplished a lot to address his own concerns then he's a moron.

Is that the best you can do? Why not choose the past five meetings? The past ten? Fifteen? Twenty? Twenty-five? Fifty? The answer is.................
The black bears are behind LSU in all of those W/L totals.
