Are they the ones that do the hydrolawn green spray shite?

Because I completely approve of that system. It's awesome.

ETA: Oh shite, wrong board.

Yes. They're terrible and only looking to upsell any chance they get. Use someone local that actually will care about your business and not just getting commissions.

The pics I just saw made me realized there are better things than grass on the field

We use Fairway Lawns, but I don't know if they are where you are.

I did at one time for about 6 months. Someone else mentioned it, but I got sick of them trying to upsell me stuff and I fired them. I wasn't all that keen on dumping all those chemicals on my lawn to begin with, but we bought a foreclosure that had been neglected and the weeds had taken over. They did get the weeds under control.

I go to the co-op now and get a pre-emerge every few months that does about as well. None of the pre-emerges I use have fertilizer in them I don't think, they're strictly for weed control. I've been considering going all hippy and using corn gluten as a pre-merge, but I've read mixed results on it.

I put down Bermuda sod when we built our house. I started using them on the advice of a friend from day one. I've been a customer for 13 years.

I couldn't be happier. I rarely have weeds or ants in the yard. Just grass from front to back.

I can't speak to existing grass but starting with sod they've been great for me.

Yes. They're garbage. My lawn looked the same after a year of service. At one point their "tech" came out to the house, dumped a half ton of fertilizer on my drive way, and then hauled arse. They did this three or four times and the tech claimed our dog was in the yard.

Fail. The dog is an inside dog and in the house during the day.

Just do it yourself, save the money and the suck service.
