The existing scoreboard is the seventh largest in the country, the frame for the new one in the expansion is going up. This one is going to be the 15th largest.
Plus, an expansion update for you construction geeks. Its coming along. Looked like a different place at the spring game last week with the bowled in end zone.

Really like how that end of the stadium is going to look. After it is finished y'all need to completely renovate the rest of the stadium.

Yeah its sort of like the place to find the nicest big screen LED televisions is the trailer park.
They have completely renovated the West side as part of this expansion. The concourse is awesome. The East side was built in 2000, so its not in as bad of shape.

Going to look great once it's finished. Everyone is now trying to keep pace with ATM and Bama - and to a certain extent, LSYew.

That actually looks a lot better than I had initially thought.
Y'all should just renovate the rest of it as well.. I mean the other end zone.

Usually stadium expansion projects are to provide capacity to meet the demand. They look like they are making more room for fans who won't be there.

Its going to be really really nice and add a lot of suites and club level seating. Also has a gridiron area where you can sit field level and eat/drink unlimited
Also all the seats are selling out pretty quickly

We are only adding around 6,200 seats.

You'd be surprised at how many fans State actually has.
I bet they don't have a big problem filling up those seats.

I thought this video board was going to have the same dimensions as the other one?

I have always enjoyed visits to Starkville. That campus is designed for tailgating.

So, has the SEC or NCAA ruled on what capacity your stadium has to be to cease artifical noise makers? Seems like it might be time to move out of the bushleague and into the rest of division 1 sports. ditch the bells.

It's like parking a Ferrari outside of your trailer. I love it

It really is. LSU fans would do some crazy things if y'all played there. It's one of the biggest campus (acre wise) in the nation.
