IIRC, that was on third down. bama would have had to punt. The call gave bama a first down and they went on to score a TD on that drive. For the rest of the game, bama had a sack party when they got to Cam. No unsportsmanlike on bama.

That is a perfect form tackle. I always laugh at the "driving the shoulder" BS. That is exactly what you are supposed to do. You wrap up and drive through the O player. When that happens you are going to the ground. Drive that SOB into the dirt.

Well, to be fair, Fairley had exhibited a history of stomping and was on stomping probation. The man is reckless with his feet and should know better.

Again...I said it, you guys denied it, and you got shown a pic of it. Now you want to run away and hide that it happened? or say it was legal. or that is what is supposed to happen? You guys are WAY to easy!
And, no. That is NOT the way it is taught, or what is supposed to happen. Legal? as the rules stood then, yes. But you all denied he did it. now you are defending it?
