Do they exist?

was walking back home after a day at work. On the roundabout I said my goodbyes to my colleague and went home. I had an early night planned because I was working the early shift the next day. After a short time, I was cuddled in my bed with a Runners Worldmagazine to read.
At about 11 p.m., I felt tired, switched off the light, and went to sleep. I woke up two hours later because I heard some strange noises near my front door.
At first I thought that it was my flatmate coming in, but it was far too early for him to be back from work.
The next thing made me jump out of the bed. It sounded like someone was trying to force entry into my flat. I grabbed my mobile, just in case I had to call the police. I ran to the kitchen to check who was at the front door. The only problem was that there was nobody there... and I still could hear the noise. I locked the doors up and down again and left the key inside, just to make sure that nobody could get in, and I went back to my room.
I always sleep with the curtains open because I like a moonlight falling into my room, only this time there was no moonlight. There were three children outside my window and they had totally black eyes and pale looking faces. I felt an absolute and overwhelming sense of terror. I think they were all about the same age, but sensed they were very, very old.
One child was repeating, "Let us in..." and knocking on the window. I knew that I couldn't do what he asked. I could sense danger as it had a smell attached to it. I don't know how else I could explain it. Anyway, the child was repeating, "Let us in... let us in... let us in..." constantly, and I jumped into my bed shaking and crying. Every time I heard the knock and the request, I was shivering like crazy and crying.
It went on for the next couple of hours and I don't really know whether I finally fell asleep or they departed. What I know is that I woke up absolutely drained of energy. I can't stop my thoughts from going back to that night, and I was praying that this will never happen to me again.

And that's when I opened the door, got on the floor, me and the 3 kids walked the dinosaur.

damn kids. i had a weird experience last summer. heard a huge crash outside my window. thought a limb fell on the central air unit. scared the shyt out of me. i grab my pistol and walk outside. as i'm rounding the corner i see a red headed woman walking in a long white gown across the street on the sidewalk. didn't pay attention at first because of the crash outside the window. slowed down and noticed she was walking and staring straight ahead - weirdest thing was her white skirt was kind of flowing like in the wind but the air was dead still. went to check out back of the house and peeped back across the street - she had disappeared. freaked me the f'k out
eta: no limb had fallen outside the window. nothing there - still don't know what made the noise

I was away on business and she was home alone with our cat Napoleon at our apartment complex. She said she was reading while the TV was on and our cat was peacefully sleeping on her lap.
All at once, he suddenly sat up and stared intently at the door leading outside. He then began mewling loudly and ran into the bedroom. He had never acted like that before so she assumed it was just another weird thing that cats did.
Just as she got comfortable again, the doorbell rang. She thought it was strange that someone would want to visit at that time of night, since most of our friends were most probably home and getting ready for bed themselves.
She got up and peeked through the hole, but saw nothing. Shrugging her shoulders, she turned away from the door when someone knocked very loudly. She then got goosebumps on her arms, but curiosity got the best of her and she opened the door a crack to see who it was.
She saw a male child of around 10 or 11 standing there. She opened the door and asked what he wanted. There are other apartments around us and she assumed that this child had either gotten locked out or was asking for help.
That's when she noticed his eyes. She said the light spilled out into the hall but that his eyes were completely black. She said she was frozen to the spot as the child asked to be let in. That was when the cat had come out of the bedroom and lay out on the floor, ears out and hissing.
She said she was drawn to say yes but as she stared into those black, dead eyes she suddenly slammed the door and quickly bolted it. She said she listened for the child's footsteps to walk away but heard nothing. After a few heart-stopping moments, she risked a look outside and the child had disappeared.
