Petrino: You have the luxury of knowing what I don't know, that Grantham's promotion, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives! You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me as Head Coach. You need me as Head Coach.
I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it! I would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way.

The playbook complication things are so overstated.

Pruitt is going to ask 3 times more from his players than Grantham asked last season.

The difference is that he will simplify the alignments (sequential formations, one word playcalls). We'll get lined up much easier with Pruitt.
But players are going to have to be better masters of technique (ie. Floyd in zone or holding the edge against the run).
