Not really. Their attitude is healthcare has been rapidly changing for years now, and this is no different. You either adapt and find new ways to do business, or you don't and go out of business. They're in a somewhat rural area and were pissed our state didn't expand Medicaid.

It's all good darling, I figured you were busy. I was thinking something with either Vols and Shaft or V&S in Orange and White, and of course TED.

Sounds good. I'll work on a couple of things & post them on the Help Board.

Sorry for the interruption, OP & whomever else is still discussing.

Neocons are advocates of big government cronyism/corporatism which makes them even worse than full blown liberals IMO because they get elected under the guise of being Republican when really they go against traditional republican values every chance they get. At least you can see and smell the full blown liberals a mile away, the Neocons sneak up from behind and frick you in the arse.

Neocon describes a foreign policy view. Any other usage is not part of the original meaning of the word. It's commonly used now to describe hates Republicans but that's not an accurate usage.

So they could increase their patient base and spend even less time per patient.

Wrong. They're already treating a lot of them for free, or at drastically reduced rates.

Drastically reduced versus their cash price? Or drastically reduced versus their billable rate? And by "a lot" do you mean 1% of their patient load or 40%?

It's a case by case basis, but basically they accept whatever each individual is able to pay/afford. No idea what percentage of their patient base.

This thread is gold for showing just how clueless about what is going on around them some people are.

In this case gold=sadness.

Not true.

Schlesinger, Jr.)

This.

The single most fiscally responsible thing Robert Bentley has done during his time in office is refuse to expand Medicaid.

There are going to be a whole lot of states facing massive budget holes before the end of this decade because they made a politically expedient decision.

Exactly.

I laugh at people who want small and limited gov't saying they would vote for Condi. She does not believe in small and limited gov't. They are obviously not doing their homework on potential candidates. She would be exactly like bush which is pretty much a horrible president.

Hmmm... odd. I see a whole lot of opinion that "Palin is stupid" but I see little to back it up.

Why? Why is she stupid? Seems to me that the vast majority of "stupid stuff" people think that Palin has said should really be attributed to someone else. The most famous example is that she never once said that she could see Russia from her back yard (that was Fey on SNL). And so forth. She DID say that the location of Alaska with relation to Russia provides her with some insight to the Russian ethos and views that perhaps other politicians in the lower 48 do not have - this seems like a perfectly reasonable and intelligent remark to make.

Contrast and compare this with Biden... who has a video gaffe library that could play for hours and hours. Biden is legendary for his examples of misspoken euphemisms.

Candidly, while I have some political stance disagreements with Palin, I really have seen no empirical evidence at all to suggest that she is stupid. If you disagree with her politically, morally, socially, whatever... fine. But if you are going to call someone an idiot, tell us your reasoning and logic.

Really? Just do a google search for dumb Palin quotes and you'll get numerous links to lists of dumb things she has said. Just off the top of my head, comparing the national debt to slavery, she was the one that started the "death panel" lie, her infamous Katie Couric interview, just to name a few. Do those examples mean she is dumb? Maybe so, maybe not. I think ultimately she's just full of empty rhetoric and really struggles giving any depth to her positions.

But to those defending her, I haven't seen anything to back up the claim that she is smart, or at least not dumb.
