Looks like she's popped up in the news again today because she thinks she accurately predicted Russia would invade Ukraine back in a 2008 campaign speech. It seems to have triggered another sage of the left calling her stupid, and the right saying she's not stupid.

I think she's a nice enough lady that clearly wasn't ready for the national spotlight. I was prepared to vote for McCain in 2008 until he selected her as his VP running mate. While I don't think she's stupid, I think she says a lot of stupid stuff to rally the masses. Maybe that makes her smart and her followers stupid, I don't know. it is somewhat fascinating how polarizing she is.

And I don't think she's all that attractive.

Being governor of Alaska is probably less prestigious than being mayor of Little Rock.

She doesn't make me angry, but I don't think she was ready to be VP.

This. I would consider voting for Rice.

I would laugh all the way in and out of the polling booth at the suggestion that I vote for Palin.

Some of what she says is 100% correct, even though the media vilifies her for it. Some of what she says is dumb.

She's a good person and doesn't deserve the way the media treated her...it was disgusting the way the media acted.

She wasn't VP material imo. But she also isn't an idiot.

Smarter than the current Prez and VP. Unfortunately subjected to have said something she didn't, and still a thorn in the side of progs, for whatever reason, as she isn't in office or making legislation.

I don't think she has been treated any worse than Obama has been by the right-wing media. That treatment kind of comes with the territory of being a Presidential or vice Presidential candidate.

I think it's been worse, just by the fact that there is a larger media contingent that leans left. You have one network that leans right, the rest pretty much lean left. Imo, it was and is much more sustainable and focused. Obama is getting it because he's literally incompetent. And even if the statement made earlier, was a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes, she still has one more nut than Obama's ever had.

I agree with this. The MSM tries to trap conservatives, but she didn't handle it real well either.
Not a lot of difference between her and Biden, except their political leanings.

Of course you do because you dislike Obama and agree with most of the right-wing attacks on him.

I think she is a major retard. I also think she is bad for the republican party image. She might have an idea worth two shits every now and then, but she is an absolute failure at conveying the idea without coming off like a retard.

Her and Biden would have some epic head scratching debates if they went head to head.

I despise Obama. It's not just dislike. He's harmed this country more than any President in my lifetime. He's surpassed Jimmy Carter as the worst President in the last 50 yrs. Their attacks are based on his policies and actions. His IRS scandals, his ATF scandals, his spying scandals, his Bengahzi scandals, his appointment of people to positions they aren't qualified for. His racism, his division of the country based on class warfare. He's been vindictive, focused his time and energy on making political opponents "pay" for disagreeing with him, and in the meantime, the economy has suffered, debt has continued to rise, and international standings have waned, making the U.S. a laughing stock.

Ya it would be awful.

But to suggest someone who bounced around the University of Idaho system is smarter than someone who holds degrees from Columbia, Harvard, and the University of Chicago is a joke.

But I forget its supercon Hunter we are talking about.
