No, he's just saying people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
Well I'm not a racist and I would never defend or attempt to minimize the association with a school for it's racist or hate filled past.

I'm quite safe throwing stones.
Modern day racism at A&M

And what do you want us, in 2014, to do about it? Please, tell us what it is you'd like from us.
Or are you just gonna keep being a chode to make yourself feel better?

No but you think that a university that has an embarrassing past should forever pay for it apparently.

I don't think most people in this thread are doing that.

He's just like any other ultra left wing liberal who wants to find any minimal evidence that there are racists in Mississippi.

What did he write about Buck Randall that made Randall not interview for this documentary.

Randall didn't like the way he was painting Ole Miss in the modern day apparently. Like we aren't that different.
ETA: Plus Randall was a very quiet and private person.

I'm actually just fricking with y'all. I know y'all are sensitive about this, so I prod. Obviously don't think OM is the same place it was 50 years ago.

I bet you think that families who had slaves in the 1800's should still be paying reprimands to the families that their ancestors had enslaved.
Thank God we don't have to do this or I'd be fricking broke.

That article says a whole lot of nothing. Just says "I bet you guys wouldn't like Muslims preaching the Quran" which is stupid because there is literally a play about Muslims in contemporary US society going on right now on campus from the Muslim student organization

Just to point out riots also happened at Alabama. Also slippery slope state did not desegregate until 3 years later so you're welcome for taking all the heat away from your perfect non racist university.

Can we all just agree that Wright Thompson is a chode?

The only history that I've ever found of it in my family was in Georgia.

You'd rather it be swept away and pretend it never happened and it's remnants still aren't around?
At some point you're doing as much harm dredging up the distant past as you are doing any good. If you want to empower people, make them feel good about themselves, not hateful of others because of long past sins.
