Players get hurt on the 1st plays of games/ Fatigue or lack thereof may indeed be a factor in injuries (difficult to quantify) but the fact remains that players get hurt due to plays/ Increase the plays increase the injuries/ Its just logic and stats and they do not change due to one's FB team allegiance

Players rotate more against hunh teams...they play fewer snaps.

False. The more fatigued a defense is, the more likely they are to make the wrong play. Bad play/less transference of energy/less contact/less injury. Other/people/can/talk/like/an/idiot.

No its not a "fact" its a statistical probability that being involved in more plays gives you more opportunity to have injuries. Just like with most any thing, the more you do it, the better your odds. However that doesnt mean it will happen

As my dear old Granddad uses to say " Son don't argue with a pig, it wastes your time and annoys the pig." So I will say adieu to this convocation of the Flat Earth Society and totter off to the beautiful beaches of Punta Uva to start chilling the Cervezas (If you ever get a chance try Imperial Beer best ever)

You've presented zero stats. Show me the number of injuries of spider 2 y banana vs power left vs a bubble screen. Different plays. Different players involved in making the play. That's different weights, speeds, timings. Show me the data. Show me how the number of injuries goes up for every pound a defender weighs. You think two teams running the same nimber of plays, but one has a Bama roster or one has a Baylor roster, and the injuries are the same? Data. Give it to us.

I thought UF and Texas were spread teams, but not specifically HUNH teams. I seem to recall Tebow in the huddle quite often.

Are you not concerned about obese players and their long term health ?

I wish they'd run the clock like soccer. This whole clock charade is goofy.

This rule will pass- either this season or next, there's no question about that because its about the pretense of safety and being sued.

The NCAA will make sure an appearance of "we're doing everything we can to promote a safe environment is upheld.

With former players from the previous 20 years you can bet it will pass.

Obesity will be the next target.

If it were so ineffective, then why are you talking about it? Why did Bama, lose the IB to it? Why is it that everyone, a year ago, wanted a piece of Oregon and next year will want Auburn? Why are there hundreds of threads created by fans of teams who dont run the HUNH? Why is a whole new rule being created to slow it down? Why are Bammers so tard? Why are Arkys insane?

So many questions!!!

If that's the case, then it's just a slow and tortuous slide to flag football.

It doesn't affect player safety so the pretense is stupid.
