Jeremy shockey: I pointed this out already, shockey didn't play in the superbowl or playoffs with Eli, he was let go because his attitude had become a cancer to the locker room, much like tiki barber's had the year before.
Amani toomer: well past his prime when Eli started playing
Plaxico: lazy, poor work ethic, never practiced with Eli, relied purely on natural athletic ability, terrible route runner, tPOS.
Vitor Cruz: Eli made him, undrafted, he is no different than the hixons and Mario manninghams. If he leaves his career is over.
Steve smith: has not had a season of over 150 yards since he left the giants, (lol at the best slot receiver) I wonder why his numbers were so good with the giants hmmm... Let's not give any credit to Eli, smith retired at the age of 28. Career literally over.
Hakeem Nicks: above everage, not premier.
Like I said never had a league premier receiver.

On a side note, I do find it rather humorous that one Manning is notoriously horrible in the post-season, while the other is notoriously horrible in the regular season.

It would be humorous if Eli finished with less than a 60% winning percentage....and 4 SB rings.

It's amazing how some can admit that stats don't tell the whole story, and yet still be a slave purely to stats
Stats lie in individual games and even individual seasons.
Over a very large sample size, such as those over a 10+ year NFL career, stats never lie.
For instance, Brad Johnson's 2002 season lies. He threw 25 TDs, 6 INTs and a won a SB. He was NOT a great QB, and his entire career worth of stats show that, but looking at 2002 you might think he was a HOFer or at least a career pro bowler. His career does not lie.
The statistical "lies" are almost always the result of team accomplishments. Eli Manning's SB wins lie about the entirety of his career because his defense held the 2007 and 2011 Patriots, two of the greatest offenses ever, to a total of 120 yards rushing, forced three turnovers and had 8 sacks. Trent Dilfer in 2002 played with the best defense ever who gave him the ball in the redzone 13 times and resulted in 9 of his TD passes.

Tyree wasn't on their 2011 team.
Damnit. I thought Tyree's 1 day contract was on the '11 team. It was on the '10 team.
I stand corrected.

Without Tyree...Eli is 0-2 in the Super Bowl...maybe that is his "intangible"
Maybe you should leave the conversation, you clearly are ignorant. Tyree had one good season, was never close to a premier receiver.
1. Amazing catch by tyree, but he doesn't have a chance to catch a ball if Eli doesn't amazingly escape a sure sack
2. Tyree wasn't part of the second superbowl dumb frick.

Terry Bradshaw won 4 SBs with a career completion % of 51.9, a career average YPG of 160 and the same number of TDs as INTs.
Probably the closest thing to a lying "career" as there is, but an examination of his numbers show who he really was.

In his SB appearances, Eli has 3 TDs to 1 turnover.
In his SB appearances, Peyton has 3 TDs to 6 turnovers.
Coincidently, the 1 pick Eli had in the super bowl was a receiver deflected pick, Eli's receivers have done this so much to him his whole career.
Receiver deflected fricking picks

Look at Peyton's regular seasons stats versus postseason.
Now look at Eli's regular versus postseason.
Or Montana's.
Or Brady's.
Tom Brady, Joe Montana and Peyton Manning all have fantastic regular season stats. Montana has the 5th best postseason QB rating ever, Peyton the 9th best and Brady the 12th best.
Eli Manning has average regular season stats and is the 10th best postseason passer ever by rating.
I'm really not sure what your point is. Taking the postseason as a whole, all four guys you listed are comparable. Taking the postseason AND regular season, one guy is thrown out and it isn't Peyton.

1. Amazing catch...he bailed Eli out...he also caught a touchdown in that game.
2. I forgot that it was Manningham that bailed Eli out in the second game.

What if you did the comparison I asked for, instead of deliberately misconstruing it?

. Eli, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, etc are not.

Eli 2-0 against Florida.
Peyton 0-4 against Florida.
Peyton 0-4 against Florida.

Peyton Manning has a career postseason QB rating of 90.2 (9th best ever) with 37 TDs, 23 INTs, 6,700 yards and a completion % of 64. His career postseason record is 12-11.
Please, PLEASE explain to me how that is "horrible" in any sense of the word?

I did.
Peyton: Great regular season numbers versus great postseason numbers.
Eli: Average regular season numbers versus great postseason numbers.
Brady: Great regular season numbers versus great postseason numbers.
Montana: Great regular season numbers versus great postseason numbers.
One of these things is not like the other...
