They already do for several days during Arch Madness, the tourney for the MVC.
But, would the Blues give up the facility?

UK fans are starting to remind me more and more of kansas fans. Non-existent during football season

Remember they was talking shite. Got mad every time Mizzou won SEC games. They predicted Mizzou to lose their last 2-3 SEC games.

Atlanta for a bball tourney

With Delta hub, it is not like you have to change planes. Maybe 200 bucks round trip? Pretty reasonable when cost and time to drive.

Gaylord/Bridgestone/Sommet, actually. As stated, having it in St. Louis would be no more of an issue since I'd imagine the Blues don't own Scottrade, so a deal could be worked out. Nashville is a great location for the basketball tournaments though.

Umm any flight to ATL from KC or STL is $500 with 1 or 2 stops and about $600 round trip. Hence why we drove 13 hours thru snow and ice for SEC champ game.

NYC to FL for under 200 bucks is not uncommon.

The biggest issue is to go to a hub city. ATL is cheap when you are not changing planes. My cousin flies out of there all the time because they live there and can get great rates.

I will say this; if the City of Columbia hadn't screwed the pooch and ticked off Delta, you would have direct flights to Atlanta. Now we go to Chicago and Dallas, which aren't awful but the wrong direction for most of my travel. You would have a few plane loads of folks from CoMo that would go to the tournament if you could fly from Columbia for $200.
