I'm not saying Cam is a terrible OC, just thought that LSU's offense would be better than they were last year. You guys were stacked at the skill positions.I think that you had the talent to be better than the number 23 scoring offense or whatever you were.

LSU's scoring offense wasn't better than it was (not that it wasn't very good) because their defense was not nearly as good as it usually is. They didn't force turnovers and didn't keep the other offense off the field. All that results in fewer offensive opportunities. LSU DID have one of the better offenses nationally. I'm failing to see how you can't grasp that. It's useless t repeat all the evidence again because you clearly seem to stubborn to acknowledge it.

Why did Saban leave Henry on the bench - I bet he would have gotten that yard against Auburn in the 4th quarter.

2012 Mett efficiency rating/rank 128.34/#67
2013 Mett efficiency rating/rank 171.40/#04
I don't know how much talent Jennings, Rettig and Harris have but I'm confident the guy who worked with Brees, Rivers and Flacco will get everything possible out of them.
...and he's not Lane Kiffin.

I'd love to know what his preseason expectations were for LSU's offense. I'd be willing to bet LSU exceeded those by quite a bit

I'm really stoked that our 3rd down conversion % was ranked #1 at .571

...and 3rd&3 doesn't automatically mean run off tackle against a 10 man front.

You truly come across as idiotic in this thread.
Any half-brained SEC fan ksaw what Cam did with our offense.
Go troll somewhere else.

You think you can figure out what the 16 and 40 are referring to?

Also LSU's previous consecutive record for 400+ yard games from opening day was 3...this year it was 6 (TCU through MSU).

I've seen some stupid questions in my day, and being from a Bammer I shouldn't be surpised, but this is one helluva dumb one
11 Jr's left for the NFL...what did you expect, an undefeated season??

Considering the amount of offensive talent that LSU had last year they obviously underpreformed.Nuss's offense at Alabama did better than Cam's and he was replaced by Saban, yet LSU are doing everything they can to hang onto Cameron. Can someone explain why?
Hmmmmmmmm. Maybe, just maybe mind you, it's because Cam ended the season 3-0 (including a 34-10 destruction of the team that scored SIX TOUCHDOWNS on mighty 'Shama), and
Mighty Shama ended the season, ummm, what was it?
Oh yes....OH AND TWO !!!!!

The mistake you're making is comparing Bama's offense and their OC to LSU's offense and their OC. What you should be doing is comparing Les Miles to Nick Saban. Cam made a significant improvement in the offense in one season and it is a great foundation to build on. While Bama's offense is arguably better, Saban didn't fire Nussmeier. Nussmeier left on his own accord. I'm sure Saban has no problem with any perception that he ran him off. That helps Saban deflect the criticism from him. There's a reason that Nussmeier says he went to Michigan because of "What Brady Hoke stands for". You don't think that was a shot a Saban?
