Parents live in Woodstock. Mom sat on 140 from Crabapple into Cherokee for an hour before being re-routed toward 92 to get home (they shut down the fricking bridge that connects Cherokee to Fulton).

Fuuuuuuuck that. Fulton to Woodstock is much preferred to that Cobb mess
In Athens, I've tried convincing the misses that whiskey has been proven to thaw snow and I need to stock up in case we need to go somewhere.
So far she's not buying it but I am hopeful I can make 5 Points before the roads ice or it closes early...

Godspeed, Durden. I am just pissed I forgot to steal some cigars from my dad's place when the end of the world started.

I lived in Milledgeville for about 5 years and look what's happening to them right now
And until I'm ready to leave the world behind, I'm not descending South of I-20 except for Halloween weekend

Yall are making me so jealous. I get to leave work an hour early today (hooray) but am still expected to be back at 8am tomorrow, so no snow day drunkenness for me :(

It's South enough that it can be 50 degrees in North Fulton and pressing 80 degrees in Milledgeville.

I'll say after surviving the winter in NY its comical how bad ATL is with dealing with snow. I know it's not really worth spending money for dealing with it since it happens once every 2 years but NYC stays running after a foot of snow.
