Any reasoning behind his decommitment?

None given yet. I think it was a combo of losing Nuss, USC getting a stable coach, etc. I've seen where most think he stays out west.

I haven't seen anything concrete so your guess is as good as anyone's at this moment.

Edit to say this, I think with Coker coming in and Cornwell looking very sharp coming off his injury, Town may have realized that he might not be the starter till 18/19 and decided to look elsewhere so he can come in a play early. I could be completely off base though.

Pretty clear to me that he wants nothing to do with Kiffin. He never even visited USC while Kiffin was there. Dude is smart. Now he will go to USC where he probably would've signed with already had Kiffin not been there.

Strong hire Bama. When you sleep with dogs you wake up with fleas.

He hasn't given one yet but USCw was/is his dream school and even though they recruited him out of HS he wasn't sold on the whole staff situation and the fact that USCw was likely gonna bring in a whole new staff.

His main recruiter on Bama's staff was Nuss and he was the one guy we were most likely to lose because of him leaving. As soon as Nuss parted ways from Bama and a few weeks after USCw hired Sarkisian, he set up an unofficial and is now planning to go back to probably commit this weekend to USCw.

Not too worried since he is a 2015 QB plenty of time to find another and glad he went ahead and did it this early.
