Worst football game you have been to.

For me it would have to be 1999 Ole Miss at Memphis. Rebels won 3-0, but each team I think had at least 4 turnovers. Got in for free, and swear I overpayed.
ETA: bad football from both teams. Like 3-2 listed below.

Everyone that was at 3-2 should be awarded a medal. That game was brutal.
2000 MSU vs. Memphis at the Liberty Bowl was the most miserable game I've ever attended. We blew Memphis out, but it was like 105 degrees.
Later that same season, we lost to Arkansas in overtime in the middle of a torrential sleet and hail storm.

When Bama lost to So. Miss. in Stallings first year. That sucked. Also went all the way to Arizona that year to see us get the shite kicked out of us by Louisville.

Kentucky/Indiana 1996. Tim Couch was a Freshman, Bill Curry was in his last year as coach.
Scoreless game late in 4th quarter. Couch came in and threw a beatiful pass to the 10 yard line and our guy dropped it. The only time the ball got inside the 10 for either team the entire game.
Rained off and on. We finally kicked a FG to win 3-0.
It was awful, but did lead to the end of the Curry years.

Dennis Franchione destroyed our program--to a point where we're only now clawing our way out from the abyss of suckitude. To choose just one game from his miserable tenure is practically impossible.
But if I had to name just one ... probably 2005 v Iowa State. The Cyclones routed us, 42-14 at Kyle. I point to that game as the day the music officially died.

Most miserable:
AU-UGA overtime game. I think it was 1996? First OT game in the SEC and it went like 4 or 5 OTs, something ridiculous.
It was a night game in late November and freezing arse cold. By about 11pm, the game was still going and it must have dropped to 20-30 degrees. I know I was frozen solid, my feet had been numb for hours and I just wanted the game to end.

Kentucky @ UGA this season. It was cold as balls, I was the only Kentucky fan in my section... surrounded by UGA fans, we got obliterated, and had to drive back to Atlanta afterwards.

It was literally 3 hours or watching monkeys frick a football. The worst coached, worst prepared, and worst played football game State had ever participated in. And there is a lot of material to pull that from. I was more upset at Wingnut for not putting us out of our misery.

didn't go to the game, but listened to the '78 bama/lsu game ... pouring rain the entire game ... bama won 3-0 on a 2nd half field goal ...

Whatever year we lost to Northern Illinois. I still can't believe I paid money to watch that. But I was with a former Miss Alabama.

I was thinking more along the lines of complete bad football. The 02 VA Tech was brutal as an LSU fan, but Tech didn't play like shite. 3-2 is the type of shitshow i'm thinking about.

State almost won that game 4-3. It was absolutely the worst display of football I have ever witnessed or will ever witness.
Auburn missed like 10 field goals, We dropped like 100 passes. Horrible.

2012 losing at home to Syracuse or 2013 blowing the game vs USCjr. Both of them scored on 4th and 15 at the end of regulation, same side of the same end zone.

Gotcha.
Then I'll edit my answer to the '91 Cotton Bowl v Florida State.
We lost 2-10.
Miserable game--from the ice stuck to the bleachers to the Greg Hill fumble on the 2-yard line.

2011 @ Kentucky. It wasn't just that we lost, it was that the game was so, so, so bad. It was a display of ineptitude so epic that we are like to never see it replicated again. Derek Dooley and Joker Phillips at their, er, finest.

what was worse was that Auburn was supposed to be legit that year. Imagine what Tony Franklin can do with an entire offseason if we can put 400 yards on Clemson with two weeks to prepare.
Oh man was the Fighting Meerkat offense fun to watch.
