I think the argument or context of how they said it is important. I wouldn't be surprised if the question or context was along the lines of "The SEC OL/DL is superior to all" and how does Auburn fit in? Then FSU coaches say they weren't impressed and didn't live up to the hype of the preceding statement

They said we were worse than UF on the OLine. That's an insult.

Pretty funny since Tre "only" ran for 195 yards and averaged 5.7 yards per carry.

Yeah, bad o-line play is being a tad bit exaggerated by some.

FSU better have more O2 Bottles on the sideline next year, because those more talented teams will have that DL sucking wind by halftime. It took AU to midway thru the third quarter to accomplish that task.

Jernigan was a beast on the inside and played great the entire night, that said when he was out of the game we dominated FSU on the front and could run at will up the middle and get into the second layer. With him in we were still doing well but we were gaining 2-3 yards instead of 5-8 up the middle.

FSU had a good game plan but we also executed poorly at times to take advantage of their defensive play.

Alabama's defense gave up fewer points to our offense then FSU's did. I guess you could say Washintgon St, Mississippi St, Ole Miss and LSU especially did a better job than they did.

They're just upset because they bought into their own hype and got blasted. They needed a touchdown return to outscore our offense.

They beat UF 37-7.

They took the lead with 13 seconds left after we had scored 31.

CYA because the nation was not impressed and their coaches keep quitting.

The OL was fine. We rushed for over 200 easy despite them constantly bringing DBs in to help support the run which is what left our receivers so wide open much of the night. If we had executed simple throws and made simple reads we would have come close to putting 50 on them.

In that gif, Tre Mason ran over Terrance Brooks who is projected to be the #2 safety taken in the draft (behind haha).

FSU's D-line played well, especially Jernigan. I mean they held Tre to 195 yards rushing. That's pretty good (seriously, it is). They did better than bammer and UGA at stopping the run and did much better than Mizzou who was lost the whole game. So I give a hat's off to FSU for holding AU to less than 300 yards rushing. That is hard to do (not being sarcastic).

My problem lies with Jimbo who ran his mouth about "play stealing" even after he won the game. Talk about low class. He's just mad that his team on offense wasn't as good as the talking heads had been saying all year and is mad that his Heisman QB looked like absolute crap most of the game.

Our expectations were met when it was 21-3 and the trend vector was saying we'd blow it wide open. No surprises. Then, well... another day.

But absolutely, FSU bought in to everything said about them and were stunned. From now on people will look at what they accomplish in the ACC and probably echo everything we said about playing in the ACC and he can't stand that. Their offense got blown up by one of the lowest rated SEC defenses.

I'd laugh if we found out that none of FSU's play calls were the same as when Craig was there and really what was going on with the towels was a preemptive CYA.

They won the national championship and got embarrassed in the process.

Yep, this pretty much. OL played very well considering FSU had 8 men within 5 yards of the LOS the entire night. Hopefully Marshall can improve his downfield passing and decision making so that Gus trusts his passing more. Coates was in man on man coverage with no safety help half the night, we should have been throwing to him all night long.
