DL - Chris Rumph, Tracy Rocker
ILB - Lance Thompson, Charles Kelly
OLB - Sal Sunseri, Freddie Roach
These are all guys with ties to Pruitt, except for Rocker who was just let go by the Titans

Richt specifically said they are hiring for Outside linebackers but not secondary, in the Pruitt Presser, before CO and CW officially left.
That tells me they are already on the hunt for LB coach. They probably already have something up their sleeve.
To replace Wilson on the DL, I have no idea. He turned out to be a great replacement for Garner, and we've got the talent in place, but I don't even know how to form an opinion on how you replace a guy like Wilson who took our Jenkins/Geathers/Smith line of Garner's and made it better with Mayes/Smith/Drew.
Anyone worth a shite is going to cost a fortune. We aren't going to pay a fortune.
We are going to gamble on someone.
7-11 or Snake Eyes ...

Another to watch is Tyson Summers, current LB coach at UCF. Former GA at UGA and coach at Tift County

Just check the resume twice.

Sounds like Summers may have been hired.
No link. Just going off chatter from different forums.

Would help recruit south GA....sounds good to me

I honestly don't know anything about him. I figure this eliminates Sunseri though who I was hoping for.

Looks like It's Summers.

Tift county is my stomping ground. I'm originally from that area and there is a pretty big void of big time D1 recruits in that area although there is a few however most of those are in Valdosta and the other big towns of the south. Albany has a big recruit this year and Tift gave UGA Isreal Troupe but having a UGA guy can't hurt.

Realistically, I think he's 39, so he might end up with a younger guy or two that isn't quite as established. I could also see him coaching another position, even though he said DB in the presser, since Wilson and Olividatti have left since then. Summers by all means looks like a solid hire if that is the case. Let's say hypothetically that it is...
Disney for me would be, and believe me I'm just screwing around:
DL: Rumph, Rocker, Hurtt - this one seems to be the position with the least names attached to it so far
ILB: Summers
OLB/DE (for all you 4-3ers out there): Sunseri after Kelly gets DC job at FSU. Vinnie decides to pursue graduate degree at UGA instead of pursuing NFL career and starts at safety.
DB: Pruitt
What do I figure we end up with? Some crazy shite happening like
DL: Nobody you or I have heard of
OLB: Pruitt b/c nobody came
ILB: Summers
DB: Derrick Ansley from UK

I just have the odd feeling that we'll be hiring younger type guys, but I could easily be wrong. Given that's my expectation going into this thing (considering his age and leaving a powerhouse like FSU after one MNC season), I'd be ok with Pruitt changing positions and us taking Ansley at DB coach only if, and I mean only, if the DL or LB hire is dynamite.

Even if we go with younger guys surely we can find one who has had more success than Ansley.

Richt and Pruitt both said that they hope to hire someone with an extensive background in special teams. Hell Pruitt told Richt he woukd do special teams. That's enough for me.

From Scout, have no idea if this is true

Pruitt chooses his first defensive position coach in Tyson Summers from UCF. Don't know too much about the kind of coach he is, but he's a Georgia native
