Is Cooper Bateman considered terrible
Not at all he has amazing arm strength but his accuracy needs a bit of work which he will probably fix in spring camp.

Luke Del Rio leaving Bama. quote: I'd heard a few bammers say they thought he had a legit chance of starting. Why would he leave? He did have a good shot by all accounts. Again transferring because he is the son of Jack Del Rio who is a famous USCw LB and still pretty involved as a Trojan alum. Coming out of HS Kiffin didn't recruit or offer Del Rio while other Pac12 teams did That is why he is transferring
All I'm seeing here is.........He gone.

I was wondering until I found this news report.
TUSCALOOSA (BubbaGumpNews) - University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban has announced that quarterback Luke Del Rio has been offered a medical scholarship. Del Rio practiced with the team throughout the season despite suffering from a debilitating ingrown toenail that will preclude his future participation in football.
It remains unclear whether Del Rio will continue his studies at the Capstone. East Alabama A&T head football coach Skipper Tuckerson says he cannot speak about student-athletes who are on scholarship at other institutions. However, "I can report that I have consulted with our medical personnel at East Alabama A&T, and they assure me that, short of gangrene, an ingrown toenail is a manageable injury for a football player. In fact, most players recover completely and enjoy productive careers. Not that I'd discuss any particular player, a'ight?"

Del Rio Family hates Kiffin.

I've heard from numerous ppl who are close to the situation Coker to Bama isn't happening.

That's cool he can ride the bench behind Jameis for another year.

How is it any different than y'all's *inside info*? Because it contradicts what Bama fans want to happen?

So bama is placing all their eggs in the basket of a player that they did not try hard to recruit out of HS and has attempted 36 passes this season (18 completed) or two Freshman. Coker is a player that the coaching staff has not seen in person probably since he graduated from HS. AU risked their season on a similar situation, but they also had a backup plan with Wallace.

Just as AU placed all their eggs in the basket of a player that formerly played DB and was kicked out school from stealing from his teammates. I would say our risk is much lower.

Gotcha...seems he gets overlooked by everyone, so I was just curious.

What other school can a third-string, walk-on QB, get this much coverage? None.
The decline is happening.
The decline is happening.

Glad he's out. Like him, but he shouldn't be our starter. We don't need another GMAC, we need someone who has the arm to make the most out of our talent.

I played vs that kid in multiple sports in grade school. I've never seen a kid get handed so much because of his dad.

Because you are LITERALLY the only person I have read who is saying that. There are some "maybe/maybe nots" but no "it isn't happening"

Last August I said the bammers would harp about Marshalls past if he was successful. My prediction is holding true.
AU did not place all of their eggs in Marshall's Basket. They had a returning starter and a former starter on the roster. Pretty much everyone accepted that the team would be average unless they find a QB. Bama is trying to claim 16 with a QB they did not want to sign out of HS and threw 36 passes all season.

Bama LOCK, look at that hair. That's all you need to know.
