Missouri and Alabama make the list. Also on it are Harvard, Cornell, Virginia, Yale, Washington, MIT, UPenn, Maryland, Stanford, Wisconsin, Michigan Illinois, Texas, SMU

The only ones that look like anything special are Mizzou, UW, and Yale. Everything else is either generic or just not that eye-popping

Have only been to Harvard, Stanford, Wisconsin, Texas and SMU.

Stanford's overall campus is very nice but the Quad itself is nearly fully covered with paving stones and has 4 giant planters for greenery. Iconic, yes. Beautiful, meh. If they really mean the Arboretum in front of the Quad then yes, Stanford is both iconic and beautiful

The South Mall at Texas is a nice space.

Harvard's is very "collegiate" - I imagine most big schools in the east are like that.

Indiana has a very underrated campus imo. I don't know if Dunn's Woods qualifies as a "Quad" but it's really unique and beautiful.
