Also, Genes and E; Bowman Archibald - TE
I think it's him due to his versatility. His film is solid and he is a legacy, sort of. But his name alone is enough for me!!

I posted this elsewhere but thought it needs mentioning; Consider where we were this time last year. We had salvaged the 2013 class by signing 3-5* DL and Nick Marshall, we won the SEC, played for a Natty and are now "in it" (really "in it") for 8-9 5* recruits!! Whowuddathunkit??

I like Archibald don't get me wrong but I think Chris Clark is the better prospect. With that said I don't think we have a chance of pulling him away from those schools up North.

Chris Clark is definitely better but he's so unlikely that there isn't much point in talking about him seriously. He got a ND offer recently and apparently his mom cried. He has several family members who are ND alum. Even if he doesn't end up at ND there are schools like Georgia who have been in on him a lot longer than we have.

I'd like to lead for one or two of them by summertime though it seems unlikely

how can anyone have Smith ranked higher than Jovon?... robinson has actually owned the JUCO level, where as JS redshirted... and I'm pretty sure Robinson was just as good, if not better, high school player as Smith.

I don't like it as much as anyone, but Robinson appears to be the best JUCO player out there.

Looks like in addition to AU getting a stellar coach Auburn High School will be getting one of the top QB's in the country for any class in 6'4" 210 LB. Jake Bentley. 247 confirmed he willbe moving from Byrnes High School with his Dad to Auburn.

I take your point, but Jason was really good in high school. Fast, elusive, and clutch. Then he slipped easily into a receiver role at the AL-MS all star game and won MVP. I assume he's maturing and getting better. Let's hope.

I really wish he was playing wide receiver in Junior College and not quarterback.

Three-star OL Marquel Harrell has de-committed from Ole Miss. He committed to the Rebels earlier this month and saw a wave of offers come his way, including Auburn. He visited the Tigers twice last week.
Do want.

Isn't an Auburn guy his coach? Or am I misremembering?

Yeah, me too. Unless they have no other QBs, I don't get it.

We jumped 26 spots in the (early, meaningless) composite ranking after the Sullivan commit + Bridges and Smith getting ranked. Now 15th... 6th SEC West school

The only guy who could hold his own last year versus Dook Williams will have something to say about that. LINK

Explanation per Barton Simmons LINK
quote:

We rated Jason Smith a four-star with a 94 rating today. Since he didn't play as a freshman this year and redshirted, we decided to stick with his high school rating.
And no. Smith was rated higher than Jovon out of high school by 247, 94 to 92.
