Well, I've got my violin around here somewhere.
Sorry you only won 2 out of the last 3 national titles, I guess.

actually, the last time we played furman in 2010 it was a week before Auburn, just as it is this year, and it was a very close game until late in the fourth
I remember this. There was a weekend in 2011 where several SEC teams struggled with SoCon teams for about a half. Alabama with Georgia Southern, Florida with Furman, Auburn with Samford, and South Carolina with The Citadel. Then of course this year Georgia Southern knocked off Florida (sorry to bring that up again Gator fans, no smack intended) and way back in 1992 The Citadel beat Arkansas (ironically, this was the Razorbacks very first game as an SEC squad). The SoCon is legit.

Yall haven't beaten Auburn since 1933 so there's one loss on the schedule.

In all fairness, they've only played 11 times and South Carolina has only recently become a strong program. That will be a tough one for sure, but they were very close in 2010 and 2011. They stunned Bama in 2010 and at that point I realized they had arrived (not saying they had not arrived before this game, I was just late to acknowledge it). My only concern with South Carolina is consistency. Sometimes this is an issue for programs that are relatively new to winning consistently. They seem to have an unfortunate habit of dropping one or two that they shouldn't. Losing to Tennessee this year was probably the worst instance of this, and it prevented them from locking up the SEC East.

11-2. Losses at Auburn and at Vanderbilt. We're getting payback for that no-call PI on 4th down the last time you all came to Nashville. Get ready for the wrath of 39k!

I see 11-1 there, but y'all always lose a game that y'all have no business losing.

Thank you for appreciating that tongue-in-cheek bit. I gotta find something to make me smile.

If you hadn't lost to Tennessee, you might have beat Auburn and played FSU.

Saturday, September 27, vs Missouri* ?
Saturday, October 4, at Kentucky* W
BYE
Saturday, October 18, vs Furman W
Saturday, October 25, at Auburn* ?
Saturday, November 1, vs Tennessee* W
BYE
Saturday, November 15, at Florida* W
Saturday, November 22, vs South Alabama W
Saturday, November 29, at Clemson ?
I see 7 games where USC wil be favored. Road games are always tough. You could have a great season and still drop 3 games.
Connor Shaw may not be as talented as Dylan Thompson, but he has the "IT" you need in a QB. Clowney will be missed in spite of his "not so great" production last year.
All i all, I expect USC to be one of the teams in the SEC that will be alive to go to Atlanta in late October.

Cocks,
How are your returning numbers? I mean, looking at your schedule, just keeping Dylan Thompson, Mike Davis and your 2013 season in mind, 10-2 sounds doable with losses maybe to Auburn and Mizzou...but for all I know you could be losing your entire offensive line and 8 starters on D.

11-2 could happen.
See them finishing the season by going 11-1

No Connor Shaw, no win vs Mizzou. Connor owned us, so I'm going with 9-3 for USCe. Good season, print the shirts

Where, on the whole, although I am proud of Bama's 11-2 season, there were higher hopes.
You seem like a miserable person
To answer OP. I think if you start off 7-0, you guys will have an 11 win season. 6-1 start, maybe 10 wins.
