I sometimes wonder why we even go through this process of cfb to begin with. Just drop the college part, turn the football programs into sports clubs and have a minor league football system. they can rent the stadium's from the universities and pay players. They can still call themselves the Bulldogs, Tigers, whatever. I've got a sneaking suspicion they'd still make money and the concussion lawsuit liability would be reduced.

I'm all for this. Attach a welding school to every college and give these guys some skills they can actually use to make a decent living.

Florida is supposed to be one of our better schools, but they graduated this retard. Not even a football player.

No I don't think they all have it. But I guarantee you the vast majority will have some sort of learning disability. Any kid that can learn normal will pick up reading at an early age. To be completely illiterate is not normal.

Ignorance, shitty schools, and bad parenting isn't a learning disorder.

Its also not just isolated to student/athletes. I read a stat a while back that close to %30 percent of all HS graduates are not academically qualified to get into college. That doesn't even factor in the dropouts. Dumbing down classrooms with the no child left behind crap is not helping either...

That retard got a Master's degree in education at UF. Her undergrad was at FAMU. I'm not sure who translated her thesis to English though.

Auburn says it is still processing our request for information. The university estimates it could take several months before it provides CNN with an answer.
Perfectly good reason for this: we put Nick Marshall in charge of putting the information together.

I have a better idea: let the NFL start their own minor league and allow them to sign kids straight out of highschool, just like in baseball. Make all the colleges adhere to strict minimum academic standards that mirror those for their general student population.

Turn college football back into a sport played primarily by students. Sure, the quality of play will go down by a significant amount, but it would be across the board so there would be no competitive disadvantage.

Speaking personally, as an alumnus I would much rather cheer for teams made up of accounting and chemical engineering majors who happen to have some athletic ability competing against one another for school pride than witness an NFL-lite slugfest between two groups of physically gifted retards wearing the colors of schools they otherwise wouldn't be intellectually capable of attending. YMMV.

I've long advocated for this even though it would hurt UF, Vandy and UG the most.

how fricking retarded are they?

Ask the high schools that graduate functionally illiterate adolescents.

If anything, the universities are doing these kids a huge service by admitting them and providing remediation and structure. It's the secondary schools that pass them on that are largely at fault.
