By 2100, the projected rise in temperature is 4-12 degress Fahrenheit.

LOL, a weatherman can't accurately predict WTF the weather will be next week, but we can predict temperatures in 90 years?

quote:

Crops will start to die about an increase of 3.5 degrees Fahrenheit.

And blame the sun, because that's what's at fault. And, that's even IF it actually happens, which is unlikely.

quote:

Sea levels projected to rise, affecting the Netherlands, Florida, the east coast, California, Lousiana.

Yeah, sea levels were projected to rise this year too, because supposedly all the warming was melting the polar ice caps and all that melted ice was pushing sea levels up. Except, polar ice caps have grown about 10x what they were in just 1.5 freaking years and now we got ice breaker ships having to go rescue ice breaker ships who are stuck in all the massive amounts of freaking ice. And, sea levels are down, along with temperatures, which is completely opposite of your super scientist's projections.

quote:

Humans are contributing to the rise in global temperatures, and virtually every academic institution in the world is in agreement.

*sigh* We addressed this already. There's over 31 thousand scientists who disagree. And I'll use one of your arguments... "How can there be 31 fricking thousand climate scientists who are wrong???" *gasp*

quote:

I myself am but a lowly student. But I am throwing in my chips with the scientists, because at the end of the day, they're the experts.

Aaaaannnnndddd.... there's your problem. I'm also betting you voted for Obama. Twice.

Students are brilliant until they graduate.

I lost at least 30 IQ points when I graduated and joined the real world. Amazingly, my knowledge of the world drastically decreased at the same time.

Delusional.

Paranoia.

Y'all are flat-earthers.

Evidence is based on interpretation and it goes both ways.

There are experts on both sides, and experts aren't always right.

Nothing delusional about it. If the topic were so cut and dried, there wouldn't be a debate about it.

I didn't see an actual accusation of conspiracy. I saw opinions expressed that natural biases can get in the way of the truth.

I've found it is far easier to attack a person than an idea, so I don't blame you for bringing out the "flat-earther" comment. I expected more of it, frankly.

The science of climatology is a new discipline that is incredibly complex. So new and complex they don't really have a way to test their models except time. In other words, they throw out educated guesses and then see if they were right. If so, they can build on it, if not, they can try again.

But that's not what they did, or are doing. They came up with models that they liked and then deemed the science to be over. There is only one possible reason to do that. Ideology, not science. And this is being proved out. Every time one of the models doesn't work out the way it's predicted, they stick with the same original theory (man-made global warming) and dream up a new theory why they are right (such as - all of the warming is, um, deep under water where it can't be seen, tested, or confirmed!).

So open your eyes, use your brain, and don't blindly accept things when the plain evidence and your own common sense tell you the exact opposite.

"The science is closed." Oh, it is? Gee, then everyone else must be an idiot Mr. Gore. Thanks.

Give me a break, and please don't be so frickin' gullible next time.

You've still never answered my main question.

Every climate scientist agrees that many times in Earth's past, greenhouse gas levels were significantly higher and more concentrated than they are now. And yet, during those times, we had many periods of extreme cooling and extreme warming.

What is your explaination for how we had over 7,000 ppmv of CO2, and yet had millions of years of ice age during that time?

How is 400 ppmv supposed to mean anything when we had millions of years of consistent freezing climate with over 7,000 ppmv?

You won't be able to answer that question and explain it away, because your group of super scientists can't even answer or explain that conundrum away.

Because it was at 7,000ppm prior to the Cambrian explosion. Prior to most plants and flowers, the very things that eat CO2.

LOL, WTF does that have to do with CO2's alleged impact on climate change?

Who gives a shite if there were fewer CO2 eating plants. According to you and your scientists, high CO2 concentrations cause global temperatures to rise, period. And by "high", your folks are considering 400 ppmv as "high".

So when CO2 levels were 20x what they are now, we had millions of years worth of constant freezing temperatures across the entire globe. How much plant life at that time is irrelevant. Plant life doesn't cause global temps to rise. And it certainly doesn't cause millions of years worth of ice ages.

And again, you can't explain that away, like I said.

Flat-earther??

"Feel not as though it is a sphere we live on; rather an infinite plain which has an illusion of leading yourself back to the point of origin. Once we understand that all the spheres in the sky are just large infinite plains, it will be plain to see—okay? "

It doesn't and never mind that there we no human beings during those periods producing CO2.

I used the propane burner from a turkey fryer to thaw the frozen pipes on my Rennai water heater. Redneck ingenuity at its finest...

They fail to mention how you have exposed outdoor water pipes with a tankless water heater in their promotional material.
