With a first year QB and a solid stable of RBs, Even Saban should be able to not be a dumbass and fight the temptation to throw the ball so god damn much.

Bama could win the title every year. At least for the foreseeable future.

Running the ball a lot helps in that regard. Kills clock, keeps offenses off field.

Bama has stopped HUNH offenses before. This year we just had a less talented defense. It was clear all season long.

Your coach obviously doesn't know that

Or, Saban could be looking at Marcus Randall 2.0. You never know with a new QB.

not really, and hurts you more than anything when you get behind and come back fast enough because you have a slow offense

They were plenty talented (see ole miss, LSU). They were hindered in the biggest games of the year by a coach who was to stubborn to grind on offense and help them out.

Loses aren't Saban's fault

Hopefully the players follow him better this year.

No, our defense was pretty average this year. Don't look at stats. Watch the games. It was obvious before the losses.

Alabama does seem to be built from the ground up to stop traditional SEC teams as they were when Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa, as Florida was just beginning to have success with a high powered offense, A&M was still in the Big 12 and two solid SEC teams had just won the NC. Time change, and believe it or not so can coaches.

What set Bear Bryant apart was his ability to adapt to the changing college football, the next few years will tell us if Saban in truly GOAT.

how so? It just became obvious as opposed to a theory with little to back it up.
