This was not the Utah game of a few years ago that Bama came out flat. They played hard, just credit to OU they played very well.

what part of a NC calibre team were you missing?

Honestly? I think drive.

I think they felt the pressure late in the season. But for almost half the season, there were too many mistakes and I think a little bit of feeling that they just needed to show up and they'd get the win. Some injury to the secondary contributed too, but for the most part.. the discipline wasn't there I think, from a lot of the younger folks. The veterans on the offensive line played like skiddish freshmen.

They will, I would think. 11-2, top 10 finish. 2008-2013 is a pretty remarkable 6 years.

Yep. Got to give the edge to Auburn going into the offseason. But it will be really interesting to see what transpires with Bama, Lsu and the Aggies with the recruits they're pulling and what they're having to replace.

Yes you were, just didn't get all the breaks like you've gotten the past few years. Still a great team.

Yeah, I'm assuming AU will be preseason favorite.

But regarding your OP....72-9 I think for last 6 years....12 win average...pretty phenomenal, especially considering the competition.

at least Derrick Henry will be good - he should take Yeldon's spot for sure. much better.

This

Wish the senior class could have gone out winners but that's on them.

I'm happy with their accomplishments

Likely will have almost the entire OL and all RB's back next year. Losing AJ and Norwood will hurt the most and Steen, but the offense should be able to be pretty good again. Secondary has to be better, LB is gonna take a hit with CJ leaving. Biggest loss on defense by far. I think next year will be a 10 or 11 win season again.

Agree. Yeldon is good, turnovers have hurt him. Sucks that our own guy caused it this time.

AJ McCarron just grabbed Jonathan Allen, pulled him in and whispered in his ear: "Just get everyone to buy in and y'all will be all right."

I find anyone 'shocked' by tonight's loss crazy anyway.

It was unexpected as we were the favorite, but Oklahoma was a legit team and it was going to take a great game to beat them and Alabama didn't even come close to playing a great game.

You play worse, you deserve to lose, just man up and get ready for next year.
