Just about made this thread. Could not keep dry eyes watching that clip. Kudos to both AJs.

I totally agree! Didn't care for him too much but after that story, can't help but root for him!

I'm LSU all the way but I have to say that AJ is now my best QB I'll ever know. AJ for AJ. The guy was going to give up until that happened. A message from above. GEAUX AJ

Absolutely. Great story. McCarron seems like a genuine dude with a big heart.

Awesome story...
AJ Starr got to the stadium early tonight too, great at his job.... So happy to be a part of the team. Good for him and good for McCarron. Its amazing how something so small like giving a kid a ride to campus can so drastically change peoples lives for the better.
"It's hard to make friends when you're different."
:wah:
To McCarron and Starr and everyone at Alabama making his life so much better

And ESPN also ran the story during the season about the friendship that he formed with a young girl gone through rigorous cancer treatments.... A great story as well

AJ and Aaron Craft would get along very well. Both awesome dudes that put others before themselves and take nothing for granted. College sports needs more guys like them

I'm in my car driving home from work and just got a phone call from my wife saying that she wants to buy an Alabama shirt to support AJ McCarron based off of what she just saw. She recorded it so I could watch it.

Dammit. That line got me. AJ Starr has plenty of friends now thanks to my new favorite player AJ McCarron. 'Merica, Roll Tide and all that shite.

Had tears streaming. Had to rewind and make my wife watch it. So I cried twice. Great story.
