There shouldn't be 55 m/h zones on the Interstate (unless it's construction related)
There's a 50mph zone in Laurel, MS on I-59 for over 2 miles. I've never understood why, but the city cops camp out on it and write lots of tickets.

They've changed it a bit. Now, if you're caught doing 75 mph on a two lane road, or 85 mph and above anywhere, it's considered "super speeder" status. You have to pay whatever the fine is for the ticket, and then the state of Georgia mails you an additional $200 frick-you fine in the mail.
All depends on how tge officer writes the ticket. If he writes a super speeder it will be reckless driving, but he can write a ticket for 30/mph over and just write it up as speeding. It is the officer's choice.
Btw- Clowney is a POS.

Speeding ticket.
Probably gotten 30 of those suckers in my life. Several at 25-30 mph over as well. Glad I haven't gotten any bad ones in years with those kind of dipshit fines.

$445 dollar ticket means patrolman must have only taken like 2pts or no pts. You only have 12pts on a license 29 over is an automatic 6pts
I know from experience that the less money you get charged on your ticket the more pts you get off.
All my tickets we're around $180 and I lost 4pts each time. One time I got a ticket for $260 in which the sheriff only took 2pts. Moreover, you can buy your pts back or so I've been told that was the explanation for extremely high speeding tickets.

think you have to pay for the drivers ed class and go on a Saturday but pretty much.
I'm pretty fortunate that I haven't gotten a ticket through there. Its pretty ridiculous that they extended the 55mph zone to include just about all of 126. The first few weeks they changed it they made a shitton of money

Since he's a poor college student, I'd guess a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am with 167,000 miles.

Gotta love Clowney ... he really takes it all in stride and has a great sense of humor for a kid his age with the microscope he's been living under.
He's made good grades, always gone to class, has had the same girlfriend all the way through college, doesn't drink, calls his Momma every day and he goes to church at least once a month. Not to mention all the community service work he does behind the scenes and with little to no fanfare. He shuns the spotlight, is not comfortable with all the attention.
Kid is gonna do just fine.
