Seriously the frick?
Great 11 win season last year but a horrid 4-8 this year?
I mean I know injuries played a role but we had a shite ton too and went 8-4.

When auburn and UGA sent former players to coach the other school, they accidentally slipped up and started winning.
We took notes this time though, and properly coached up muschamp do sabotage the right way. I gotta say it's worked out even better than anyone had expected.

To be fair your defense was not nearly all it was cracked up to be either. We shredded it with a RS Freshman QB making his first start.

boom knew they had too much potential, so he put a hit out on easley.
then he started pitting offensive players against one another to make them fall apart so that the defense would be hamstrung. did you see the two gators fighting one another mid-play?
the negativity from the offense started rubbing off on the defense, and they quit with the exception of a couple. my source indicates that vh3 is scheduled to take a bit of an unfortunate tumble in the offseason.

Once Easley got hurt it definitely wasn't dominant anymore. But it still was good, certainly better than a 4-8 record would show. It's hard for a defense to go out there drive after drive knowing that if they give up a TD it's basically game over there. And y'alls backup QB is pretty good and had significant playing time against UGA a week or two before.

Really it started before the year. Driskel got hurt. Then the injuries started to spiral out of control. Easley was the straw that broke the camels back. After he went down, we just sucked so hard.
The ONLY reason Muschamp got another year was because of the injuries IMO. Without those, he would be the new DC at UGA.
