Gus wouldn't be running this offense with Sam Bradford.

Just did a quick check on 24/7 Sports. Looks like Auburn has one QB commit in its class - the 14th ranked prospect in the country. Looks like AU was competing with FIU, Western Michigan, Hawaii and Cincinnati for his signature.
I rest my case.

Tulsa finished 3rd and 9th in passing ypg under Malzahn. Paul Smith threw over 200 more passes than Bradford in 07. David Johnson only threw 6 less passes per game than Bradford in 08.
Doesn't fit your narrative so you're going to ignore it, huh?
BTW, Gus has now recruited 2 four star QBs to Auburn as the HC.

What QB did Gus get last year? How did this years recruit do at the elite 11? Do you know jack shite about Gus Malzahn or AU recruiting?
FYI, I already know the answers to these questions.

Is Chronic retarded?... Gus has one QB in the NFL right now that's heads and shoulders better than anything Saban or Miles has ever produced...

Not to mention Chris Todd broke Auburn passing records in Malzahn's offense.
quote:
On August 13, 2009, Todd was named the starter for the 2009 season. During the 2009 season, he cemented his name into the Auburn record books. In the season opener against Louisiana Tech, Todd connected with wide receiver Terrell Zachary on a 93 yard touchdown strike, which at the time was the longest offensive play in Auburn football history (Cam Newton would connect with receiver Emory Blake on a 94 yard pass during the 2010 season). In mid-September, he threw four touchdown passes to lead Auburn to a 41-30 victory over West Virginia. The following week against Ball State, Todd threw for 284 yards and five touchdowns, with the five touchdowns tying the Auburn single game record for most passing touchdowns in one game. Todd also set the single-season record at Auburn with 22 touchdown passes and finished the season with 2,612 passing yards and a passer rating of 145.73, ranking him 18th in the nation.

Before you rest your case, you may want to check the other recruiting services.

BTW, Bradford had offers from OU, Iowa State, TAMU, and Texas tech.
All the powerhouses in the country in 2006.

Not ignoring it. He's gone from a spread hurry-up to an option-read offense.
Why are you getting so mad? Because you know I'm right? Hilarious.

Chris fricking Todd was top 20 nationally in passer rating?....
never mind the BCS Championship, two SEC titles, and Heisman winner... that might be his greatest accomplishment as a coach...

I've seen Gus run an offense that does this 80/20 run/pass split (i.e. this year) and I've seen him run an offense that felt like it was closer to 50/50 (in 2009). He definitely crafts the identity of the offense behind what the players are best suited for.

Clearly a sign of defeat. Thanks for playing. You fail.

Longest touchdown pass. Lol? What does that prove? So since McCarron threw a 99-yarder he's better than other QBs that have never thrown a 99-yarder?
Most TDs? Don't forget how many games he played. You can't compare a 13-game schedule to what Pat Sullivan played, for instance. So he's competing against who? Brandon Cox and Jason Campbell?

You are getting mad. Your ad hominem attacks prove it. Classic logical fallacy.
