Oh, yeah, well if he can recruit all the Cam Newtons floating around then no problem!

How about 2009 and 2011? And this year?
Maybe you should go to wiki and find out exactly when Malzahn first started coaching in college.

I also like how you want to try exclude 2010 for your argument but keep in years with Chris Todd and Clint Moseley at QB. Classic.

Also, 2009 Auburn finished 5th in the SEC in ypg. 4th in TDs. And 3rd in yards per attempt. Facts and shite.

This year? Sammie Coates is second in the country in yards per reception. He seems pretty dynamic to me.

Nothing like an extreme hyperbole to try and make a point.

Let's see: Since the FAU game, Marshall has attempted 1, 8, 7, 26, 16, and 11 passes, respectively.

Now, first of all, there's no such thing as "extreme hyperbole." Hyperbole is, by definition, extreme.

But by averaging those numbers you'll see that if I exaggerated at all, it was only slightly.

My guess is the way to "slow down" that offense is to beat the shite out the QB and ball carriers on every play, period. It's what broke the RG3s and Colin Kaepernick's in the NFL. So I'm guessing SEC DC's will be bringing the beatdowns in 2014
I've never understood why you don't hit the QB every play, that's what was taught with the Wishbone. In this conference, however, I assume they'll call penalties if you do this, unless Alabama wants it to go unpenalized.

I've got two tickets @ face value for next years game. Thank you brother in law.

It's fricked up that I can always get the best UA tickets at face value, but have to scramble for AU tickets.

So you are going to include a game he left in the first half due to injury to artificially reduce the number of pass attempts and you are going to eliminate half the season for the same reason? Why?

FAU: hurt shoulder in the 1st Quarter, taken out of the game
Arky: shoulder still slightly injured, running game was working
UT: has an awful rush defense
The other 3 games are pretty normal

So you didn't figure out he left that game with an injury after the first quarter? And only picking 6 games to prove a stat? Genius. Honestly, I'm surprised you didn't include WCU. And not surprised you excluded MSU, LSU, and TAMU.

AJ averaged less than 20 attempts per game. Only counting Chattanooga, Arkansas, Georgia State, LSU, and VT.

But haven't we been told all along that Auburn has been improving since the beginning of the season? That THIS is Gus's offense as he wants to run it? THAT Auburn since the LSU game is nothing like Auburn now?

You guys can't have it both ways.

Yes, because it is true and obvious. You would have to be a complete idiot to disagree.

No. No one has said that.

Also true.

You started this with your asinine statements. Youre just too fricking ignorant to give up your stance when you finally get called out on the BS you've posted multiple times.

Well, they have been.

This is the offense that Gus needs to run with the players we currently have. Nick's passing has improved, but we don't have a receiver with sure hands.

You tell me. Watch the LSU game, then watch the IB or SECCG. Does it look like the same Auburn team?

Anything else?

You're totally right. All the Matt Leinarts, Sam Bradfords and Carson Palmers are going to want to play in Malzahn's triple-option offense. How could I have ever thought otherwise?!

Have you even paid attention to Auburn w/ Gus over the years? The offense is tailored to the players that he has at the time. The offense with Chris Todd looks different than it does with Marshall. Gus will also run the ball until it's stopped. None of this is new if you've paid just a little attention. He doesn't have a "type" of offense. He just wants it to be fast.

Had to go all the way back to before Rivals and Scouts existed to find examples? Not a good leg to stand on.

So still didn't look up Tulsa's numbers in 07 and 08 I see.

What does Rivals have to do with it? Sam Bradford wouldn't be Sam Bradford in Malzahn's offense. Or do you not see that?
