Since '80, what dynasty comes in 2nd place behind the current Alabama dynasty?

2. Early 2000's USC (cheated, but, still deserve 2nd spot)
3. Mid 90's Nesbraska (disputed NCs lower them)

I chose '80 since most here seem to be less than 35 years old and have not had the privilege of seeing the greatest football program of all time in their previous dynasty years.

USC had the best and most talented players

Nebraska had the best team

Alabama really a midway part of both. Out of this world players and a slightly less GOAT team (2009) than Nebraska had during 96 and 94 and 97

Nebraska ahead of everyone. They just destroyed people back then.

What about Miami for most of the nineties to 01. 01 Miami is still better than any Bama team ever and is probably only second to 95 Nebraska.

Yawn. Terrible thread. The Nebraska dynasty is better than the Alabama one, you guys have 3 in 4 years like they do but you won the conference only twice

A Bama fan who throws cheating and disputed at other schools is especially funny.....

Mid '90s Nebraska is easily #1. 2009-2012 Bama had more than twice as many losses as 1994-1997 Nebraska. I hate to say it but Nebraska was on another level.

I would think a "real" dynasty could win their own conference at least two times in a row.
