The guy calling the game on CBS said it was. I'm not the one bitching about it though.

Malicious -- no. Intentional out of bounds contact - yes.
That should fall under the same guide as targeting.

But Gus' comments -- that's what made me reach the conclusion I did. Fact is there was a lot of dirty play on the Auburn side of the ball. And hey, big game/big boy rules and all, but after talking to some of AU other opponents -- it seems that is the way Mahlzan is coaching them to play. Since it looks like that is the way they are being coached - I see it as a systemic problem.

Mahlzan could prove me wrong by benching him. And I'd gladly root for AU then. But I don't think he will. And, of course, I can't support that kind of play. Cheap and dirty is okay for hooker, but not national champion football team.

Good Lord. Kid was flagged and penalized. He was a dumbass, took the play outside of the field of play when he shouldn't have, and was flagged for it. But let's not make mountains out of molehills.

yep. This is where it should end. Dirty hits out of bounds happen. Its an emotional game.

Whatever dude, he made a bad decision, but the kid doesnt deserve to be suspended. He didnt mean to hurt the guy. The cart shouldnt have been there, bottom line.

Right, and drunk drivers shouldn't go to prison because they didn't intend to hurt anyone. People just die because of their recklessness. Recklessness is perfectly acceptable, if you don't intend to hurt people.

It sounds like the OP needs to take his beef up with CBS.

Mizzou is nothing but thugs for hitting Marshall when he fumbled and was clearly on top of the ball then 3 seconds later a dude jumps on his back like a pro wrestler. TPOS should be kicked out of school. Pinkle should hold a town hanging and just kill him too.

Probably wouldn't be as big of a deal to us if it doesn't knock Josey out of the game.

Quite honestly if it had been anyone on Missouri other than Josey it would have only been flagged and moved on. ESPN showed the Josey story over and over all day. So people are making a huge deal out of it because he is a comeback story.

In no way should Malzahn or Auburn suspend him for a late push. It was a bad play on his part, Missouri fans are blowing it out of proportion though.

I know.
However, my loyalty isn't with AU. I'm a Tiger. I can choose to support or not support a team on any criteria I choose. I laid out why I will not and why I would.

There are definitely some extremely sensitive people about it though. Wonder why that is? Perhaps because they know I'm right.
