It's a done deal. All things considered, I'm glad we got a big name opponent and we're in New Orleans.

We gonna dominate.

I'm attempting to get excited about this. Oklahoma sucks. At least we didn't get UCF

I'm actually happy about this. If it couldn't have been the BCSCG, I wanted the Rose Bowl, and if it couldn't have been the Rose Bowl, I wanted the Sugar Bowl.

And Oklahoma is one of the good all time programs. I loved the home and home we had in the early 00's with them. Plus maybe TJ could have a monster game and go back to drawing AP comparisons.

Note, I don't think TJ is anywhere near AP's level.

I can get excited about this matchup. More importantly, I think the players can and will be excited as well.

And it will be a chance to get to .500 with them, and out of the nonwinning % against another team. We're currently, 1-2-1 vs Okie, and the points scored for and against is tied at 81 a piece.

I am excited about this match-up. Just glad we didn't get somebody like UCF or Utah

Yeah, I'm glad it is Oklahoma. Very winnable game, big stage that some of our guys can go out on a high note on.

David Cornwell will enjoy it.

This should be a fun bowl for us if the team takes care of business. I think Saban will be pumped for the matchup even though it's not THE game.

All of Stoops' whining about the SEC in the summer will be covered ad nauseum by ESPN.

Thank God we didn't draw UCF.

The bowls have been good to us recently. Texas, Notre Dame, and now Oklahoma. Plus we played Michigan in Dallas to start 2012. Give me tOSU, USCw, and Nebraska in the near future.

After the video released by The OSU after we lost, I really really want to play the buckeye peas!!! Please let there be a change in plans somewhere and let us get Ohio State in the sugar some way!!! Urban will need to be monitored for heart problems if it happened!!

Where are you seeing done deal? While that may very well be the case, no one that I can find is reporting it.

Completely agree, I want to see Urban cry this time. But a game with the Sooners will be good. Great tradition, BCS bowl and we own New Orleans. Plus it will be no problem to get up for Oklahoma unlike UCF. Fans and team will be locked and loaded.

So Bama has officially been passed by the Orange and invited to the Sugar?

Nothing is official yet, but I think the consensus among those speculating, is the Orange is worried, that after being there last yr, it could hurt attendance this year. So, they may pass on Bama and take Oregon/Clemson, while the Sugar goes for Bama/Oklahoma.

I'm guessing most of you are too young to remember Alabama owes Oklahoma for 2002 and 2003. I'm pumped for this game.

The Orange picks first but can't choose a BCS title participant or another bowl's replacement, if their automatic tie in was lost to Pasadena.
