USCe has the best wins to their name of anybody in the country. How on earth did they lose to Tennessee again?
Spurrier grew-up in Neyland ... there were ghosts in the stadium that clouded his mind.

I imagine Scar fans were the only people other than Bama fans rooting for Bama yesterday.
Missouri was rooting for Bama hoping to get the bump Auburn is now enjoying...

Hypothetical here: Mizzou beats Aubie, tOSU loses to MSU. Would anyone be surprised if Bama jumps Mizzou for the title game?
Won't happen. There would be an uprising in the SEC... forget the rest of the country. Bama got into the game AFTER the SEC champ. Mizzou could play them for the title though.
ETA: If USCe had won the East and then beat Auburn, the hypothetical could have played out.

I pointed this out in another thread, but I'll do it here too. If UCF can stay ahead of NIU in the BCS polls, NIU will be left out of the BCS bowl picture and UCF will be shipped out west to the Fiesta, freeing up the Sugar. This is the first time we've been ahead of NIU in the Coaches, so things are looking up.

Auburn should be number 1.

Y'all need mizzou to beat the Barn. And FSU. Ohio st all three to happen. I wouldn't bet on it.

Wow. Four of the top nine teams started the year unranked and 12 of the top 25 started the year unranked. Shows you how bad preseason polls are.

They play at Baylor this weekend. A&M doesn't play again until the bowl.

Yep, we beat 3 teams ranked the AP top 25. However we lost to an unranked team and a UGA team that is 25 in the AP. Granted I'd like our chances better if we could play the exhausted UGA lineup that was playing most of the season.

I really like USCe, and Spurrier and it sucks that a team that easily has a top 5 overall resume in CFB this year isn't even going to get the opportunity to play in a BCS bowl at the very least.
Yep. We've had to watch the likes of Hawaii, Cincy, and NIU grab bowl bids and have watched teams we've beat play in BCS bowl games. Probably have to do the same this season. Its frustrating but laying that 1 egg against UT cost us this season.
With that said. We only had 5 seniors this year, and are losing a few experienced juniors (Clowney for example) so there is hope for the future.
