The problem wasn't not going for it on 4th and 13 from our 24, the problem was not benching Manziel. It was obvious in the 1h and sticking with him cost us a shot at that game.

Stats: 12-19 for 71 yards with 2 passes going for more than the 13 yards we needed - one on a short toss Labhart turned up and one on a busted play, neither of which were actually thrown 13 yards in the air. He had a long rush of 6-yards on the game. This was not the QB you know and odds of picking of 13 yards in such a situation were crazy low.

our defense had forced a three-and-out 4 times in 12 tries to that point. Meanwhile our offense had 3 straight 3 and outs and Manziel couldn't throw 13 yards. Don't look at the season, look at that situation. Which is more likely to happen, we get a 4th and 13 when we hadn't completed a pass thrown that far the entire 2h or the 1 in 3 shot at a 3 and out. It didn't work but frick it's not like either option is good.
