Shaw vs Manziel

Shaw was able to beat Mizzou in a little over a quarter worth of play. So whats JFF going to do with 4? He put up 59 last year with 42 of that coming in the first half alone. TAMU losses are to auburn, bama, and at lsu. Would you expect mizzou to win any of those games? The more I think about this, I am glad we dont have to do anything but watch JFF take care of business for us to get to the ATL! Go Cocks!

Problem is our defense >>> A&M defense

USC fans are so sad this time of the year. Always waiting and hoping that someone else will lose so you can back into the SEC championship :(

I dont think its backing in because we have completed our conference schedule and you havent. We beat you at your house when we needed to stay alive and as it sits we have to do nothing to get to atlanta but you do.

Another coin flip game. I picked TAMU but with the second lowest confidence points.

I'm inclined to think that Shaw coming off the bench IN THE 4TH was a benefit to USCe. It's almost like it fired them up from a slumber and had he been in the game the whole time, I don't know if USCe doesn't sleepwalk through the whole game.

This game is all about defense.
Mizzou is going to try an mimic LSU's defensive strategy, which is the same damn strategy that I have been talking about all off season. Mizzou doesn't have the personnel to play like LSU did v. JFF. Nor does Mizzou have the weather conditions (excuse, I know, but a factor none the less).
To stop JFF, you must have 4 down linemen who press but do not lose contain. You must have fast-as-frick LBs playing in coverage in zone, while DBs are playing man coverage.
Missouri has a pretty talented defense, but not like LSU's.
This game will come down to defense, but it will be A&M's defense that decides the game. If A&M can make some stops and cause some turnovers, A&M wins.

A&M's defense???? The only thing easier to score on than A&M's defense is......OK nothing's easier than that.

Add that Mizzou's secondary has given up the 2nd most yards in the SEC it is their weak point. It just so happens A&M excels at passing.
Should be a close game.

Meaningless stat. Mizzou's giving up one more passing a yard a game than A&M in conference play. However, they're also giving up 1.7 less yards per passing play, and they've given up 13 less passing TDs.

I said A&M's defense will be the deciding factor in this game. If A&M's defense can't make any stops, it's anybody's game. If they do, Mizzou fricked.
Why was that so hard to understand?
