So Spurrier is already helping USC court Dantonio and is flying under the radar by attending gameday too.

What about Pelini? Has he taken the Youngstown job? There were rumors that he had flown to Columbia to meet with OBC prior to all the muschamp crap last week.

2007 title game (OSU vs GATORS)
Posted by cecolacock on 1/5/14 at 6:26 pm
Anyone remember the hype for the undefeated buckeyes before this game? How great they and their heisman winning qb were? How badly they were going to destroy the gators? THis was the greatest team ever, if you remember, because they beat an also undefeated michigan team. I would guess that clemson would be FSU claim to fame this year. I just feel this year's championship has a lot of similarities and we will see auburn bring home the title. Maybe not with a beating like the gators but i still see them pullig it out. a one loss battle tested auburn team being told how lucky they are to be there vs an untested team being told how great they are. I believe the gut check will come for them in this game and i dont know that they will respond. Thoughts?
re: Tenn fans - do you ever regret firing Fulmer?
Posted by cecolacock on 1/4/14 at 6:18 pm
not a tenn fan but i think its less firing Fulmer and more hiring Kiffin. He is making his rounds, tenn, so cal, and now bama. And torching everything in his path.
petrino

How long does it take Louisville to hire Petrino back?
re: If Auburn loses and ends the SEC's NC streak...

The decline of the sec will be made official after going a lowly 7-3 in bowl games and the torch will be quickly passed to the ACC since they will be the only conference with 2 bcs bowl wins this year. This will be made official when dabo grabs the mic from jimbo in the presser and claims that the acc is the first conference this year to win both of its bcs games.
re: Extremely Early 2014 SEC East Predictions

Carolina only loses 4 seniors which made it the youngest team in the country this year. In addition to that they will lose Clowney, Quarles, Ellington, and Hampton. The four seniors are Shaw, Sutton, Legree and i cant remember the other. Thompson will likely start for shaw and i imagine that we will be ok at wr even losing ellington. Offense should be really good, we usually reload at db (even before sos) and i think our d line is deep but losing 3 starters will definitely hurt. Clowney didnt play at all this year though according to most of you so that shouldnt be a big loss. (LOL) I like our chances of finally getting back to ATL. I dont know if it matters but Spurrier has said that he thinks nexts years team will be better.

I noticed he didnt mention his sec win streak.

I think we are all forgetting a key piece of evidence and that is sc lost to tenn. Neither florida or georgia could pull off that unlucky feat. And look how much it cost them.
re: Shaw vs Manziel

I dont think its backing in because we have completed our conference schedule and you havent. We beat you at your house when we needed to stay alive and as it sits we have to do nothing to get to atlanta but you do.
Shaw vs Manziel

Shaw was able to beat Mizzou in a little over a quarter worth of play. So whats JFF going to do with 4? He put up 59 last year with 42 of that coming in the first half alone. TAMU losses are to auburn, bama, and at lsu. Would you expect mizzou to win any of those games? The more I think about this, I am glad we dont have to do anything but watch JFF take care of business for us to get to the ATL! Go Cocks!

muschamp to uga, richt to fla?
re: UGA or USC? Who wins tomorrow?
Posted by cecolacock on 9/6/13 at 7:52 am
Anyway we can find all the predictions from last year? You know, when UGA was going to come into Columbia and deliver a beat down because they had something to prove. As Vandy says, this is not your dad's south carolina. Cocks win by 10 and only because of a trash touchdown by UGA with time running out. 34-24 Get the fear the thumb t-shirts ready!

Thompson did go on the road at Clemson last year and came out with a win.

Are they even playing? I thought the season was over after the national championship game in Clemson this past Saturday.
re: Georgia will go down next week also
Posted by cecolacock on 8/31/13 at 11:38 pm
All I know is that USC went into Clemson last year and won with a back up qb and tailback so it cant be that hard.

Uga has already doubled their point output from last year in the state of south carolina. Good luck tonight. Next week we make it four in a row!
