I'd like to see Gus' resume at this, while we're at it.

ETA: Off the top of my head:

Tyrik Rollinson
Clint Moseley
Ryan White
Kiehl Frazier
Zeke Pike
Jeremy Johnson

Bama tried to offer to pick the Roc up on Friday to visit t-loser.

Daddy Evans holding son out to avoid unusual pressures associated with recruiting.

This all for TTs.

Kinda worries me that Evans' dad feels the need to keep him out of school...

Cracks me up that uat offered to give Roc a ride. I guess they couldn't get Peaches to take him to the beach?

I somewhat like it because he doesn't have to hear Auburn until it make him resents us. The only bad thing that could come from that is if his dad is trying to push him to Bama and doesn't want anyone messing it up.

If he wants to end the recruiting pressure all he has to do is committ.

That's not true. The pressure will end when he signs, best case scenario. Committing means nothing in terms of pressure from our coaches, other team' coaches, or the public.

That's assuming his mom feels he is ready to make a commitment.

If his parents wanted him to wait to commit before they may still be doing the same now. I don't think anything he could hear at school would help Auburn unless his Dad is wanting him to go to Bama like some have said.

I think it is funny that Gus has recruited 3 more pocket oriented quarterbacks in row with Johnson, White and Queen but yet everyone thinks he has to have a runner to win games.

Yeah, it's pretty amusing that folks act like Gus's offense doesn't rely heavily on passing typically. People bring up Cam and conveniently ignore the fact he threw for almost 3K yards.

This year was a huge anomaly for Gus, not some sort of norm. We need a down field passing game for Gus's offense to be at a peak level.

I wonder if Kirby somehow tries to work in his visit last.

The only part that made me wonder was him saying they were trying to figure out which system was going to help him get to the NFL and the way he said if Rashaan picked Auburn he thinks it would be good. Like it would just be okay.

But he did say that he believes Gus has the team headed in the right direction and he believes that Rashaan could help them make a run at another National Championship. Plus saying they were letting Gus have the last visit because he wanted it.

He didn't talk about what Rashaan could do for Bama or really about the Bama team at all. Just Saban and Smart as his house eating.

The offense with Cam hit its stride when Dyer took over the majority of the running game and Cam was asked to throw the ball and stretch the field. At the end of the year, Cam's running was more to scramble than designed runs.
